LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: Anniversary Edition (5005849)

Last month, DK released the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: New Edition which included the exclusive Finn minifigure but it looks like there’s another version of the book. Over on Shop@Home UK and other countries, there’s a version of the book called the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: Anniversary Edition which has some extra exclusives than the normal version.

The cover has changed to Darth Vader and the coloring is similar to the 20 Years of LEGO Star Wars logo and it also includes the Finn minifigures along with two art prints. There’s also 16 pages of additional content which states that it includes every LEGO Star Wars ever released which I assume with have the 20th Anniversary Edition sets as well. What’s interesting is that the product page also shows a Platinum Edition which I think is the same book. There’s no word on when/if it will be available here in the US but as I mentioned earlier, it’s available in other countries.

Fans will love to delve into this fully updated and expanded visual guide to all the minifigures, vehicles and sets from the entire LEGO® Star Wars™ saga. Pre-Order the New LEGO Harry Potter Build Your Own Adventure Book

LEGO has announced the new LEGO Harry Potter Build Your Own Adventure book and you can now pre-order it on Amazon. Coming in at 80 pages, the book retells some memorable scenes from the Harry Potter movies and there are parts to build an exclusive 2-in-1 model that is not available in any sets. The book retails for $16.33 and it will be released on July 4.

Some of you may have known that I went to Philly Brick Fest this past weekend and there I had the pleasure of meeting former LEGO employees Megan Rothrock and James Foulds. They were at the event to promote their new book Construct-a-Venture: Building Tales with Syd and Friends! which is a somewhat unique LEGO book that I haven’t seen that much of. LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary New Edition Exclusive Minifigure Revealed

Amazon has updated their listing for the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: New Edition to show an image of the exclusive minifigure that will be coming with it. The image now shows Finn in a Bacta Suit which is seen in Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. This version of Finn is not in any set so completionists will want to get this book for the minifig, unless you just get it by itself on the secondary market. LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: New Edition is slated to come out this April but you can pre-order it now at a 33% discount.

LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: New Edition Book Preview

Last year I reported that there will be a new LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary: New Edition coming in April 2019. Amazon has recently updated their listing of the book with some new preview images of what we can expect to see. The last version of the book came out in 2014 with the Updated and Expanded version and the latest one will include LEGO Star Wars sets and minifigures that have been released in the last few years. Of course, we can’t forget about the exclusive minifigure that will also be included with the New Edition which should be revealed as we get closer to the release date.
