LEGO City Heavy-Haul Train (60098)

LEGO Train fans, it’s time to sink your teeth into LEGO’s latest offering with the LEGO City Heavy-Haul Train (60098). LEGO has updated their servers so now we finally get to see the official images of the set. It’ll consist of 984 pieces including 12 of the straight tracks and 16 of the curved ones. The set will also include the Power Functions IR Speed Remote Control and I assume the Receiver Unit along with the Battery Box. There’s no pricing that I know of but if history is any indication, the Heavy-Haul Train (60098) will be upwards of $150. Who’s excited to add this train to your City layout?

LEGO City Space Starter Set (60077) Review

In my second review of the Summer 2015 wave of LEGO City sets, I have the LEGO City Space Starter Set (60077)icon. LEGO has been pushing these Starter Sets in this year’s LEGO City sets which includes a couple of small builds to help you start your City. The Space Starter Set isn’t an exception with its 107 pieces and coming in at a typical $9.99 price point. Just a note, this set is the largest, in terms of piece count, of all the smaller City Starter Sets. The contents of the box includes two un-numbered bags and one instruction booklet.

LEGO City Space Utility Shuttle (60078) Review

Toys R Us has recently released some of the Summer 2015 LEGO City sets and I managed to get a couple of the sets, more particularly, the Space-themed ones. My first review of these sets is the Utility Shuttle (60078)icon. The set contains 155 pieces and retails for $24.99 which is a paltry $0.16/piece ratio. The contents of the box includes two numbered bags, one instruction booklet, a small sticker sheet, and a loose nose piece.

LEGO City Summer 2015 Sets Found at Toys R Us

If you’ve been waiting for the Summer 2015 wave of LEGO City sets, you may want to head on over to your local Toys R Us store. Long-time reader of th site, Kevin, has informed us that he has found a couple of the Deep Exploration sets as well as one of the Space sets at his store in northeast Ohio. The summer wave sets aren’t officially released until June but as we all know, Toys R Us likes to put out stuff a little early so it doesn’t hurt to check it out if you’re planning on getting them.

LEGO City Deep Sea Operations Base (60096) Revealed by The Brick Show

LEGO City Deep Sea Operations Base (60096)

The Brick Show is back with another review of a LEGO City set that we haven’t seen pictures of yet, the Deep Sea Operations Base (60096). The reason for us not knowing about the set is because it’ll be a store exclusive but it’s unknown which retailer it will be. The set has 907 pieces and it consists of a lot of builds to it including a sea plane, the operations base, a little raft, a small submarine, and a little rock formation with treasure. The pricing is also unknown at this point but I’m guessing it’ll be upwards of $90. Check out Stephen’s review of the set below.

New LEGO City Space Polybag (30315) Revealed by The Brick Show

LEGO City Space Car (30315)

The Brick Show has revealed a new LEGO City polybag that we haven’t really reported on yet. It was sent to them directly from LEGO for review but nobody really knows the name of it yet. All the information that is available is that it is set 30315 and is part of the Space subtheme that will be coming out this summer. As far as information that I know, there will be a promo in August for a “City Space Car” so I’m going assume that it is talking about that one.

The 30315 polybag consists of an astronaut minifigure riding some sort of rover-type vehicle with a rotating satellite. Check out Stephen’s review on the new LEGO City Space polybag below.
