More LEGO Summer 2016 Set Names (City, Creator, Disney, Friends, Nexo Knights, Ninjago)

Well it’s another busy day regarding information for the summer 2016 LEGO sets. There’s even more set names from various themes including City, Creator, Disney Princess, Friends, Nexo Knights, and Ninjago. These names come from Just2Good, Eurobricks, as well as NeoGAF. Some of the more interesting stuff include the volcano theme for the City line while Friends will focus an amusement park theme. LEGO Creator Seasonal Christmas Tree (30286) Promo Now Live at Toys R Us

From now until Thursday, December 24 at Toys R Us stores, you can get a free LEGO Creator Seasonal Christmas Tree (30286) polybag with purchases of $30 or more on LEGO sets, excluding LEGO Dimensions. This is most likely the last free polybag promo for the year at Toy R Us. It isn’t as flashy as the last two free promos but it’s something if you’re doing some last minute Christmas shopping.

Some LEGO 2016 City, Creator, and Technic Sets Now Available on Shop@Home

It’s technically December 1st on the east coast and that means some new LEGO 2016 sets are now available for purchase on Shop@Home. Some of the sets that are available include sets from various LEGO themes such as Cityicon, Creatoricon, and Technicicon. The two Disney Princess Frozenicon sets are also available today as well. I believe this is the first time that LEGO has officially released sets for the next year a whole month early. If you’re doing some Christmas shopping, this gives you some more options to choose from.

LEGO 2016 Official Images Surfacing Online

LEGO has started to upload official images of a few of the 2016 LEGO City, Creator, and Technic sets to their servers. A few of the sets have also been listed on Shop@Home if you can find the link with them being scheduled for release on December 1. This is probably the first time I’ve heard of 2016 sets being released before Christmas so if the listings are indeed true, there are more options for your holiday shopping. LEGO 2016 Set Rumors (Various Themes)

It’s that time of the year were more details of 2016 set will be coming out. My trusty source has provided me with some more rumored LEGO sets coming throughout next year. There are no pictures but I do have some details for various themes. Let’s just start alphabetically by theme.

For the Architecture sets, we kinda knew about the city type ones but one that wasn’t touched on was one featuring Buckingham Palace from the United Kingdom. It’s made up of lots of tan pieces and also includes a mini double-decker bus.

There was also mentioning of one of the LEGO Ghostbusters sets from the reboot movie which I posted the announcement earlier today. All I have from Ghostbusters is a set number of 75828 with $79.99 NZD.

LEGO TECHNIC fans also get in on the fun with a Bucket Wheel Excavator (42055) that goes for $499 NZD. There’s also another TECHNIC set named “Ultimate Vehicle” which goes for $699 NZD. I’m not sure if that’s the final name of it or not but that’s what I was told.

Although I said I would go alphabetically with themes, I saved what could be an awesome set for last. Back in 2013, LEGO released the LEGO Creator Sydney Opera House (10234) which was based off of the famous building in Australia. Rumor has it that LEGO will be releasing another world building set with the Big Ben (10253) from London with the pricing at $499 NZD.

LEGO Creator Modular Brick Bank (10251) Officially Announced

At the BricKorea fan event in South Korea, LEGO has officially announced the next modular to its popular lineup, the LEGO Creator Brick Bank (10251). The set contains 2,380 pieces and retails for $169.99 and will be in January 2016. Modular fans have been waiting for another corner building since 2013 when the Palace Cinema (10232) was released but we’ll be getting one at the beginning of the year.
