LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game Kinguin Giveaway

The LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game was just recently released and we here at The Brick Fan have partnered up with Kinguin to do a giveaway for the game. Actually this is for three copies of the PC version of the game so if you want to get in on the action, head on over to Kinguin to enter.

The giveaway will run until July 10 and the winner will be announced on July 11. Kinguin will be suppling the codes so you’ll have to contact them at [email protected] to claim your prize.

LEGO Dimensions Sonic the Hedgehog Minifigure Revealed

Earlier today, Mark Warburton from TT Games shared some images of the Sonic the Hedgehog minifigure that will coming out for year two of LEGO Dimensions. As we know by know Sonic the Hedgehog will be one of the new licensed properties that will be coming to the popular toys-to-life genre along with a slew of other characters.

As you can see, the Sonic LEGO minifigure is pretty true to the character with the new molded head piece. He is also shown holding a life preserver piece instead of the One Ring piece as shown at the end of the trailer but this could be just a placeholder. We’ll have to wait and see when the images of the expansion pack are released.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game Kylo Ren and Rey Character Vignettes

The LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game will be releasing in just two short days and there are some new character vignettes that have been shown off including Kylo Ren and Rey.

If you didn’t know yet, there are two versions of the game, the regular edition and the Deluxe Edition. The best version for your money is the Deluxe as it includes the Season Pass for the game which includes a number of Level and Character Packs. Also included is the exclusive Finn (FN-2187) minifigure.

There are a few retailers that will be having different exclusives when the game comes out so here’s a list of what deals are included with who.

LEGO Dimensions E3 2016 Roundup

In the past few days, TT Games has been releasing images and videos as well as content of some of the upcoming IPs that will be included in year 2 of LEGO Dimensions at E3 2016. In yesterday’s livestream at E3 2016, they showed off some more of images.

If you didn’t see the official announcement last week, there are 16 new IPs that will be coming to LEGO Dimensions including: Adventure Time, Mission: Impossible , The A-Team, Ghostbusters, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, The LEGO Batman Movie, Harry Potter, The Goonies, Sonic The Hedgehog, Teen Titans Go!, LEGO City Undercover, Knight Rider, The Powerpuff Girls, Gremlins, Beetlejuice, and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.

Like with the previous year, the expansion packs will be coming in a number of waves starting in September, November, January, and March.

One of the main things the’ve highlighted is the new Battle Arenas feature which is a competitive gameplay that consists of up to four players. All of the the upcoming and previous characters will be able to be used in the Battle Arenas which themselves have four game modes including Capture the Flag.

News about the year 2 content of LEGO Dimensions will continue coming out this summer as we head towards the release in September. I wouldn’t be totally surprised if TT Games makes an appearance at San Diego Comic Con next month with more reveals so stay tuned for that.

LEGO Dimensions Ghostbusters Story Pack (71242) E3 2016 Gameplay Demo

Earlier today over on Twitch, Arthur Parsons and James Mcloughlin from TT Games showed of some of the gameplay of the LEGO Dimensions Ghostbusters Story Pack (71242). The pack tells the story of the upcoming Ghostbusters movie but you can also see other franchises mixed in with it. In the demo, you can also see some other characters being used like Jake from the Adventure Time Team Pack (71206) and Stripe from a future Gremlins pack. Check out the video in the link above.

Things just got spookier in LEGO Dimensions with the all-new Ghostbusters Story Pack! Relive the film and help Abby Yates and her team of Ghostbusters save the world from the mysterious and evil ghost, Rowen, across 6 action-packed levels of gameplay. Equip Abby with her Proton Blaster to activate her Charge Transfer ability to move electricity between conduits, and use her Intelligence Access ability for puzzle-solving. Ride around in the Ecto 1, then rebuild it into the Ectozer and The Perfecto for super-charged power. LEGO Dimensions Battle Arena E3 2016 Gameplay Demo

E3 2016 is going on all week and LEGO Dimensions. has shown off some of the new content that will be coming out later this year. The main thing was shown off was the Battle Arena. The demo shown was sort of a Capture the Flag mode featuring a local 4-player split screen. There are four game modes in each Battle Arena.

Some other details that were given out for the Year 2 LEGO Dimensions content is that all of the new expansion packs will have unique Battle Arenas. All of the first year’s characters are able to be used in the Battle Arenas. Additionally, you can play as a single player if you desire and the other characters will be controlled by the computer.

The release schedule again will be in separate waves with the first being in September, then November, January, and March.
