LEGO Marvel's Avengers Video Game

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released the first trailer for the LEGO Marvel’s Avengersicon video game. The game will feature characters and storylines from the first Avengers movie as well as the recently released Avengers: Age of Ultron. The trailer also states that LEGO Marvel’s Avengers will be released this winter instead of in the fall as previously stated. It’ll be available on all major consoles including Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Nintendo Wii U, 3DS, and PC.

Also remember if you pre-order the game from GameStopicon, you’ll be getting the exclusive LEGO Iron Man Silver Centurion minifigure.

LEGO Marvel's Avengers Silver Centurion Iron Man

About a week ago, I reported that an image of the LEGO Marvel’s Avengers video game pre-order bonus of the Iron Man MK 33, Silver Centurion, minifigure was revealed. It is now confirmed that the Silver Centurion minifigure will indeed be a pre-order bonus exclusive at GameStopicon and we can now see the whole official image of it. LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is listed to be released on December 31 but that is a placeholder and it’ll be released earlier than that when it hits the shelves in the fall.

New Licenses Announced for LEGO Dimensions Including Ghostbusters and Midway Arcade

LEGO Dimensions

Warner Bros. today has announced two new IPs that will be joining LEGO Dimensions in the near future including Ghostbusters and Midway Arcade. Although there’s no mentioning of which Ghostbusters character will be included in the game, many readers have guessed that Slimer would be one of them. What’s really surprising is the Midway Arcade license because there are so many classic arcade characters that can be included. Again, there’s no mention of which of the characters will be added but my guess would be Paperboy or George, Lizzie, or Ralph from Rampage because those two games seem to fit in the best with LEGO Dimensions.

WB has also revealed a new trailer called Build Rebuild featuring various vehicles that are able to be rebuilt into other vehicles to be used in the game. Each vehicle or gadget will have three different builds.

Check out the full press release and the Rebuild trailer as well as some new screenshots of them game below.

LEGO Worlds First Impressions Gameplay

LEGO Worlds Gameplay

Earlier today, I did an one hour stream on my Twitch channel for the new LEGO Worlds video game. It is now available for Early Access on Steam for $14.99. My first impressions of the game is that the play style is very similar to any other LEGO games you may have played by TT Games.

When you first load up the game, you have a few options. You can choose from a number of Worlds you can start on. You can also randomize the worlds so there are a number of different environments you can start on. After the world loads, you get dropped in from the air at a random spot and you can either land while going full speed or you can open up your umbrella to slow you down and that’s when the exploration starts.

LEGO Worlds Gameplay

You have your basic jump, action, and ability/interact buttons which are standard for these LEGO games. Pretty much everything is breakable and some items can drop studs for you to use to purchase things. I’ll get to that a little later. You may also see items that flash white. You can collect those to add to your collection of items called props. There are also random characters that you’ll meet throughout your exploration and they’ll be added to the characters list. Beware, you may also find some enemies that you have to beat up to get them.

For Tools, you have paint mode, add, remove, flatten, smooth, lower terrain, raise terrain, and select & export. These tools … Continue

LEGO Worlds Video Game Now Available on Steam Early Access

LEGO Worlds Steam Early Access

A few days ago, it was revealed that TT Games will be releasing a new game called LEGO Worlds. There was not much information about it but it’s June 1st and surprise, it already available for Steam Early Access for $14.99. It’s a single player game that lets you freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models which is pretty similar to Minecraft but in LEGO style. For those who aren’t gamers, Steam Early Access is a way to play the game while it is still being developed and you’ll get regular updates until the full release of the game. Check out the full description of LEGO Worlds as well as a video for it below.

EXPLORE. DISCOVER. CREATE.

LEGO® Worlds is a galaxy of procedurally-generated Worlds made entirely of LEGO bricks which you can freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models. Explore each World and unlock new discoveries: from cowboys and giraffes to vampires and polar bears, to steamrollers, race cars, and colossal digging machines! Use the multi-tool to shape environments and alter any World to your liking: raise the terrain to create vast mountain ranges, or enter the Brick-by-Brick editor to build anything you can imagine. Save your creations to build with them again. LEGO Worlds enables you to populate your Worlds with many weird and wonderful characters, creatures, models, and driveable vehicles, and then play out your own unique adventures. Probably not worth upsetting the Skeletons though…

LEGO Worlds is currently in Early Access, so be sure to keep coming back for
