LEGO October 2025 Shopping Guide

This month is just flying by and it’s time for our LEGO October 2025 shopping guide for sets that will be releasing on the LEGO Shop next week. The main set that will be releasing is the new UCS Death Star (75419) which will be the first ever set priced at $999.99. We also have the release of this year’s Winter Village set with the Holiday Express Train (10361) along with the other Seasonal Christmas sets.

For the gift with purchase items, we only know of one so far which is the LEGO Star Wars TIE Fighter with Imperial Hangar Rack (40771) which you can only get when you purchase the Death Star.

In the Insiders Reward Center, you can get the LEGO Star Wars Death Star Supersize Premium Print which will cost 5,000 Insiders points.

LEGO Icons Smeagol & Deagol (40761) Returns & Polybag GWP Promos Live

LEGO has started some new promotions on the LEGO Shop for the second half of September. The main one is for the LEGO Icons The Lord of the Rings The Shire (10354) where you can get the LEGO Icons Smeagol & Deagol (40761) gift with purchase set. This will run until September 24, while supplies last.

There are also some polybags that you can get for purchasing sets in various themes. You can get both the LEGO Animal Crossing Julian’s Beach Painting (30703) and the LEGO Minecraft The Lush Cave Fight (30705) polybags when you make a $50 purchase in Animal Crossing, Fortnite, Minecraft, Sonic the Hedgehog, and/or Super Mario. These promos will run until September 27, while supplies last.

LEGO Captain Jack Sparrow’s Compass (5009609) GWP Sold Out Online

The LEGO Icons Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship (10365) was just released yesterday and to go along with it, you could’ve gotten the Captain Jack Sparrow’s Compass (5009609) GWP. Unfortunately it looks like the gift with purchase set is now sold out online but LEGO Brand Stores may still have them. It was supposed to last until September 18 but the GWP is the yellow box packaging which is usually the more limited ones compared to the regular boxed GWPs.

If you’re still want to see if stores still have the Black Pearl, I would highly suggest calling them first before heading out there as it is also on backorder status. Even though the ship is on the more expensive side, it seems that it is still popular among fans.

Also known as the Black Pearl, the iconic ship has been featured in all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. The set consists of 2,862 pieces and retails for $379.99. Also from now until September 18, you can also get Captain Jack Sparrow’s Compass (5009609) when you purchase the set, while supplies last. You can also double up on the promos as you can also get the LEGO SEGA Genesis Controller (40769) GWP as well.

LEGO Winter Village Holiday Express Train (10361) Revealed

LEGO has finally revealed this year’s Winter Village set with the Holiday Express Train (10361). Releasing on October 1, the set has 956 pieces and will retail for $129.99. The Holiday Express Train features a four car train which includes the locomotive, a tinder car, a passenger car, and a car with a large polar bear with a present. It also comes with a set of track as well.

The LEGO® Icons Holiday Express Train (10361) model train set has arrived. Craft a locomotive with a bobbing smokestack, coal tender, flatcar carrying a bell-ringing polar bear and an end car with a furnished interior. This adult building kit also includes 4 minifigures and a passenger platform with a bench and lamppost, plus miniature toys including, for the first time in a retail LEGO set, a 3D-printed train piece. Build the track around your holiday tree and add the LEGO Powered Up kit (sold separately) to motorize the locomotive.

LEGO Star Trek Teaser Featuring Captain Picard

The rumors are very true as LEGO has teased a new LEGO Star Trek set coming soon. In the teaser, you can see a Captain Jean-Luc Picard minifigure phasing in and some Klingon text at the end spelling out TUGH Paw which translates to coming soon. The Picard minifigure is in his red Starfleet uniform from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
