LEGO Ideas Addams Family Mansion Modular Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Addams Family Mansion Modular by afol777 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. This is the second Addams Family Mansion that afol777 has gotten enough supporters to reach the review stage after the original version failed to pass it. This version is a modular version of the building and it is just under 3,000 pieces and it also includes minifigures of Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, Grandmama, Cousin It, and Lurch. Like with official LEGO modulars, there are floors of the buildings that you can access and the mansion has three different ones. You can check out all of the images in the link above.

LEGO Ideas SpaceX BFR / Starship & Super Heavy 1:110 Scale Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The SpaceX BFR / Starship & Super Heavy 1:110 Scale project by Albinolan is the latest one to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project has 2,020 pieces and is a collaborative project among many people who had submitted previous SpaceX projects on LEGO Ideas. This is a two-stage vehicle that comprises of the Starship and Super Heavy Rocket booster and is designed to be fully reusable.

The SpaceX BFR / Starship & Super Heavy 1:110 Scale now joins National Museum – Rio de Janeiro, Anatomini, The Office – NBC, The Pirate Bay, and Kakapo as the projects to reach the First 2019 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Space Rocket Ride (40335) Promotional Set Found in Croatia

Last year, LEGO Ideas did a contest called Moments in Space and the winning model would be turned into a gift-with-purchase set. The winner was the Cosmic Rocket Ride and it looks like the set is now available at a Croatia LEGO Certified Store. PromoBricks has posted an image of the LEGO Ideas Space Rocket Ride (40335), shown above, and it looks faithful to the original submission with some minor additions and changes. There’s no word on when this promotion will go live but it’ll be soon from the looks of it.

Design a Floor for LEGO Tower on LEGO Ideas Contest

LEGO Tower was announced for mobile platforms a few days ago which is a game similar to Tiny Towers. One of the details in the game is that there are a wide variety of floors and LEGO is giving you a chance for your own design to be in the game.

LEGO Ideas has kicked off a new contest for you to submit your entries to wins some great prizes. In addition to having your floor design be in LEGO Towers when it launches this summer, six winners will also get the LEGO Creator Corner Garage (10264), LEGO Ideas Ship in a Bottle (21313), a $200 shopping spree, as well as a special unlock feature in the game.

The entry must be build using a digital building tool like LEGO Digitial Designer or any other LEGO building software. You can check out the full list of rules in the link above. The submission phase runs until May 2 and the winner will be announced on May 22.

If you haven’t made up your mind on the LEGO Ideas The Flintstones (21316) set, LEGO has recently released the designer video for the set. LEGO designer Ricardo Silva talks about some of the details that went into the set. They also touched on how to implement the Hanna-Barbera design style into the LEGO style.
