There hasn’t been much information about the new LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303) since it was accidentally revealed back in June until now. Korean LEGO community BrickInside has somehow managed to acquire the set and has done an in-depth review on it, albeit in Korean. You can still translate the words but the most important things to look at are all the pictures the OP has provided. One thing that I got out of is that it says the release date was September 1 although Smyths had it listed as a December release so I’m not sure which one is correct until LEGO officially reveals it and provides the details. LEGO Ideas The Big Bang Theory (21302) Review

In a few weeks, the official release of the tenth LEGO Ideas set, The Big Bang Theory (21302), will be happening at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home. I’ve received a set from the LEGO CEE Team to review for you guys.

The set was first conceived on LEGO Ideas back in February 2014 by Alatariel and GlenBricker and the project passed the review in November 2014. Before that, there was a lot of support from fans of the television sitcom which has a cult following in itself. The official set will contain 484 pieces and retail for $59.99.

LEGO Ideas Lothlorien Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The latest project to hit 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas is Rakrondewl’s Lothlorien. This project is based on the Lord of the Rings house of Celebor and Galadriel as seen in the movie. There are a couple of play features that are included such as a minifigure catapult, flick-fire missiles, and detachable sections. The characters that are suggested include Galadriel, Celebor, Frodo Baggins, Aragorn, Legolas, and Boromir.

Lothlorien now joins the Brick-Built Adventure Time Figures, the Caterham Super Seven, and the Modular Library as the projects to reach the Second 2015 Review Stage.

LEGO Scooby-Doo and LEGO Ideas The Big Bang Theory (21302) Available at SDCC 2015

FBTB is reporting that the new LEGO Scooby-Doo sets as well as LEGO Ideas The Big Bang Theory (21302) will be available for purchase early at San Diego Comic Con. The sets will are scheduled to be released in August but convention attendees will get first crack at the sets. I’ll see if I can get my hands on them but I won’t be too sad if they are quickly sold out.

LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303) Official Images Revealed

Earlier today, the official images of the new LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303) set was publish on Smyths Toys website. The set was designed by Angus MacLane who also worked on the movie and his project on LEGO Ideas garnered enough support in the eyes of fans as well as LEGO to have this set be produced. WALL•E (21303) is listed to be released in December and has a retail price of €57.99 which corresponds to about $39.99 here in the states. It isn’t certain but that’s my guess for similarly priced sets and it could be as high as $49.99 considering it’s a licensed set.

Thanks to everyone who emailed in about it. I did see it this morning and sent out a tweet from my phone but didn’t have a way to do this post. What do you guys think of the set?

LEGO Ideas Modular Library Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Modular Library by JGreeny is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The library features many intricate details including a skylight that is able to open up. Other details of the set include bookshelves, a bike rack, and also 6 minifigures.

The library is another modular project to reach a review stage but it remains to be seen if LEGO actually decides to produce one of these sets. There have been previous projects that are of the modular variety but ultimately did not pass their respective review stages like the Apple Store and the Natural History Museum. It now joins the Brick-Built Adventure Time Figures and the Caterham Super Seven as the projects to reach the Second 2015 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas The Big Bang Theory (21302) Set Revealed

LEGO Ideas has just revealed the image of the newest LEGO Ideas set, The Big Bang Theory (21302). The set will consist of 479 pieces and will retail for $59.99 when it is released on August 1st. As I mentioned yesterday, the set will have 7 minifigures featuring the main cast of the hit TV show: Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, Raj, Penny, Amy, and Bernadette. The set itself is designed by Steen Sig Andersen and Mathew Boyle and it looks very close to the project that Alatariel and GlenBricker proposed on LEGO Ideas which features the living room of Sheldon and Leonard.
