LEGO Star Wars Solo Sets Release Date Revealed

Back in October, I reported that there will be some LEGO Star Wars sets coming out that will be based on the Han Solo standalone film coming next year. It looks like there’s confirmation of a release date for the sets coming out of Rebelscum.com which states they will be available starting on April 20, 2018.

There will five system sets (75207, 75209, 75210, 75211, 75212) along with two buildable figures (75535, 75536) coming out for the wave. Rumor has it that one of the sets will be the Millennium Falcon with a blue and white paint job. We most likely won’t see images of the sets in the upcoming toy fairs but it’s possible that they may pop up on the April 2018 LEGO Store Calendar when it becomes available in March.

LEGO Star Wars DJ (40298) Minifigure Polybag Coming in 2018

This year, LEGO has released some new LEGO Star Wars minifigure polybags that have a connectible stand with them including R3-M2 (40268) and the Scarif Stormtrooper (40176). There is another polybag that will be coming in 2018 for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and it is for Benicio Del Toro’s character, DJ (40298). There’s no word on how to get it at this time but it could be at Toys R Us or at LEGO. It won’t be at LEGO in January because there’s no promotion listed for it on the store calendar. It could be a May the 4th promo or some even suggested it could be a Black VIP Card exclusive. No matter how it will be coming, I’ll let you guys know how to get it.

Two Weeks Left to Get LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon for Black VIP Card

There are about two weeks left in the year and for those who are still trying to get the LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192), here are some tips for you to potentially get one to get the exclusive Black VIP Card before the end of 2017.

Shop@Home is pretty much out of the question as there has been very low quantities on-hand online for a short period of time. Your best chance to get one is if you live close to a LEGO Brand Store. Either call or visit them and check if their waiting list for the Falcon is close to being done. I’ve have a few reports from readers that say their stores (Palisades Mall for one) have completed their lists and the Falcons are now on a first-come, first-served basis. If they do have some in stock, ask if they can put it on hold and you can hop over there to pick it up. If not, check when their next shipments are and it’s possible there may be some on the trucks. Also you can ask to be put on the waiting list if the stores are still doing them for the next ones that come in.

It’s unfortunate that the Black LEGO VIP Card is only available with a purchase of the UCS Millennium Falcon because there was so much demand and very little quantities for fans, there’s no way that it will pass the reported 30,000 number of cards that are available. Hopefully LEGO will extend the promotion … Continue
