The set is a store exclusive and it has 938 pieces and includes minifigures of Ahsoka Tano, C1-10P (Chopper), Ezra Bridger, Captain Sato, and Agent Kallus. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Order General (5004406) Listed on Toy R Us

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Order General (5004406)

The LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens First Order General (5004406) minifigure polybag is finally listed on Toys R Us’ website for $4.99. This most likely means that it should be showing in stores here in the US as part of an upcoming promotion. This minifigure was first released as a promo in TRU Hong Kong and after a few months, it will finally be available here. The character isn’t too special but polybag collectors would want it anyways. I’ll try to check the status of the minifigure when I get to work tomorrow. The item number is 553205 if you’re searching for it in stores.

Update: I’ve checked the system and there are 6,300 polybags at the closest distribution center here in California waiting to be sent out to stores in nearby states. There’s still no word on when they will be available.

LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector's Series Assault on Hoth (75098)

The May the 4th flagship set for this year was announced back in February with the LEGO Star Wars UCS Assault on Hoth (75098)icon. Almost immediately, there was an overwhelmingly negative response to the set and pretty easy to see why it got such as response. LEGO Star Wars Escape the Space Slug Building Instructions

LEGO Star Wars Escape the Space Slug

This past Saturday, LEGO Brand Stores held a special event for LEGO Users Group (LUG) members for the start of the May the 4th shopping event. Members of various LUGs around the world were invited to the event at their local LEGO Store and there were some LEGO Star Wars exclusives for the event including an Assault on Hoth art poster as well as the Escape the Space Slug set.

The 161 piece set was obtained by spending $150 on LEGO Star Wars sets and I believe they were limited to 28 per store. The box is similar to the exclusive ones that are sold at various conventions like San Diego Comic Con.

LEGO Star Wars Escape the Space Slug

The Escape the Space Slug set is based on the scene in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back where Han Solo and the rest of the crew escaped during the Battle of Hoth and went into hiding on the maw of the exogorth.

This particular set shows a small diorama of the scene after the Millennium Falcon flew out of the space slug’s mouth. This set is actually the first time that LEGO has created the Space Slug so that’s pretty neat.

Although there are no new or rare pieces so if you have the correct parts, you can build your own. My friend Joey, who also went to his LUG event, was nice enough to send over a PDF copy of the instructions for me to share so you can download it here. The file is about 14mb so it’s not … Continue
