LEGO at San Diego Comic Con 2017

The full schedule is now out for San Diego Comic Con 2017 and here’s all of the LEGO related content that will be happening during the four days. I’ll continue to update this particular post if more LEGO happenings are revealed for the convention.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie sets as well as the 2018 LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes sets will be shown off.

LEGO San Diego Comic Con 2017 Sunday Panels

Sundays at San Diego Comic Con are usually more children oriented as most of the major things have already been shown off in the previous days. The last day of the SDCC 2017 schedule has been released and there are three LEGO panels that will be held that day.

World Premiere of LEGO Scooby-Doo! Blowout Beach Bash

Mystery, Inc. heads to Blowout Beach for a real swinging beach party, but when the Ghost Pirates threaten to crush the good vibes, it’s up to Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma to get the party back on track and save the day! LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2: Meet the Talent Behind the Video Game SDCC 2017 Panel

There’s still one more day to potentially reveal a true panel for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Video Game at San Diego Comic Con 2017 but in the meantime, there’s also a Meet the Talent panel scheduled as well. On Saturday July 22 from 1:45pm – 2:45pm in Room 6A, some of the team behind the game including Arthur Parsons, Bill Rosemann, Justin Ramsden, Kurt Busiek, and Dan Veesenmeyer will be on hand to talk about it and attendees will be able to see a new trailer, more character reveales, as well as exclusive audience giveaways.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Black Panther & Avengers: Infinity War Details

There are some more LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2018 news regarding some of the upcoming movie tie-in sets. According to Sir von Lego on Eurobricks, we will be getting two Black Panther sets and a whopping six for Avengers: Infinity War.

We’ve already seen a Black Panther minifigure from the Black Panther Pursuit (76047) from Civil War last year so hopefully we’ll see an updated outfit. We’ll also most likely see a Erik Killmonger minifigure and one for Ulysses Klaue as well.

As for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Infinity War sets, I’m surprised there are that many that tie-in sets. Considering there are a plethora of characters in the movie, I’m sure they will be spread out into all the sets with hopefully no duplicates. Also, since there are six Infinity Gems/Stones, I’m hoping one is included in every set which makes sense.

A few days ago, we saw the official images for the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League sets but we only got a glimpse of the box art for the largest set in the wave, the Flying Fox: Batmobile Airlift Attack (76087). The set is now listed on Shop@Home and we now get an in-depth look at it. The set will be available August 1 for $129.99.

There are now official images and descriptions of the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League sets courtesy of BZPower. As reported before, there will three LEGO sets accompanying the Justice League movie. The sets will be available starting on August 1.

The summer 2017 LEGO German catalog is now available and there’s now a first look at the three LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League movie sets.
