LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Hulkbuster Art Print Details

March 3, 2018 / Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Hulkbuster Art Print (5005573)

Today was the release of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition (76105) and whether you purchased it online or got it at a LEGO Brand Store early, you will receive two different prints illustrated by Roy Lim. I decided to take the chance and went to my LEGO Store to get it and upon inspection of the prints, they are more high quality than the usual posters we’ve gotten before. These are not the paper type posters but more of a thicker card stock with some texturing on both sides of it and the size of them are 10″ x 13″.

The thicker card stock means that they will get a crease in them if ever they get folded or get hit on the sides. This is a reason why I went to the LEGO Store instead of purchasing it online so I could keep them in near pristine condition. I have a feeling that they will get damaged in the shipping boxes unless they are in some protective envelopes.

As for the Hulkbuster set itself, it is currently now on backorder and will ship by March 17 as of this post. I also noticed that the sketch print no longer shows up in the cart as it appears to have sold out but the colored version is still available.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition (76105) Now Available

March 2, 2018 / Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition (76105) is now available for purchase on Shop@Home. The set retails for $119.99 and it is a Marvel UCS version of the Hulkbuster from the 76031 set from 2015.

In addition to the set being available now, there are also some promotions that you’ll be able to get with the Hulkbuster including a color Marvel art print (5005573), a limited edition art print sketch (5005574), and The Guardians’ Ship (30525) polybag since it meets all three requirements to get them. I’ve heard there are a limited number of the print sketch by Ron Lim so jump on it if you want to get one. As I mentioned before, LEGO Brand Stores may only limited quantities of the sketch print depending on how many they got in today.

As always, please use our links as it does help support the site.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Teen Groot Keychain (5005244) Revealed

March 2, 2018 / Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

The Singapore LEGO Certified Store, Bricks World, has revealed a new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Teen Groot (5005244) Keychain polybag that will be released in the near future. I believe this is the third keychain polybag that LEGO has released so far with the first two being the Kiss Kiss Batman and Master Wu.

This version of Teen Groot has it with an angry expression which is different from the one found in the Thor’s Weapon Quest (76102) so that’s a little disappointing for those want regular minifigure with that expression.

There’s no word yet on availability here in the US but it’ll probably be part of a LEGO promotion in an upcoming month. The original date for the Avengers: Infinity War release was in May before it got bumped up so it’s possible that we could see it then.

Even More LEGO BrickHeadz Rumored for 2018

February 28, 2018 / Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

Last week, I talked about some of the upcoming 2018 LEGO BrickHeadz sets which included the new Justice League, Back to the Future, and Minecraft as well as some Wizarding World BrickHeadz sets as announced during the New York Toy Fair. I’ve just received some new information for even more BrickHeadz sets from other themes that will be coming later this year. These BrickHeadz sets will encompass Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Frozen, and Star Wars.

First for the Wizarding World BrickHeadz, there will be two sets, one possibly of Newt Scamander and a two pack most likely consisting of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.

For Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, it is rumored be a two pack as well. The characters will most likely be of Owen and Claire but I’m hoping for one of them to be Ian Malcolm.

For Frozen, there will be two sets, one with Elsa and another two pack of Anna and Olaf.

Lastly for Star Wars, there are supposedly four sets in the pipeline which include Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, and a two pack of Luke Skywalker and Yoda.

As always, these are purely rumors unless LEGO announces them or they are revealed on online toy shop product pages.

Justice League – Tactical Batman & Superman (41610) – $19.99
Back to the Future – Marty McFly & Doc Brown (41611) – $19.99
Minecraft – Steve & Creeper (41612) – $19.99
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (41614) – $19.99
Wizarding World (41615) – $14.99
Wizarding World (41616) – $9.99
Frozen – Elsa … Continue

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes March 3-4 Offers Revealed

February 27, 2018 / Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Art Print (5005573)

According to the March 2018 LEGO Store Calendar, there will be some special offers to kick off the release of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Infinity War sets and it looks like LEGO has revealed the offers for this weekend.

There are three offers that will be available only for this weekend. The first offer is the regular color Marvel art print (5005573) with a LEGO Marvel Super Heroes purchase of $25 or more which you can see above.

Next up is probably the best one which is the limited edition art print sketch (5005574) of the Hulkbuster by Marvel illustrator Ron Lim when you purchase The Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition (76105). This offer is only available for LEGO VIP members.

The last offer is the free LEGO Marvel Super Heroes The Guardians’ Ship (30525) with a Marvel purchase of $75 or more.

Technically you can get all three offers in one single swoop when you purchase the Hulkbuster since it meets all the requirements. The only issue when ordering on Shop@Home is if the prints are protected or will they be folded up which will be a major disappointment. I would suggest heading to a LEGO Brand Store to make your purchase to ensure the prints are in pristine condition when you get them. All three offers are available on Shop@Home until March 4 or while supplies last. I’ve been told that stores may not have many Hulkbusters and the sketch prints available to last both days so I suggest getting in line … Continue

LEGO DC Super Heroes Visual Dictionary Initial Look

February 24, 2018 / Allen "Tormentalous" Tran

We haven’t talked about any LEGO books in quite a while but it looks like there’s now an image of the upcoming LEGO DC Super Heroes Visual Dictionary that is slated to come out later this year. It is basically an updated version of the LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes: Batman Visual Dictionary but this book will include pretty much everything LEGO DC-related that has been released from the past few years. You’ll also notice the blank space for an exclusive super hero minifigure which is basically the main draw for most fans. There’s no word yet on who this character is but hopefully it’s somebody that we haven’t gotten before. Chances are it’s another variant of an existing character but it’s fun to guess. Who do you think this exclusive minifigure will be?

Anyways, you can now pre-order the book on Amazon and it’ll be released on September 4. You also get the Amazon pre-order price guarantee where if the price drops after you place your order before the release date, you’ll only pay the lowest price that it’s offered at.
