LEGO DC Universe 2013 Man of Steel Superman Minifigure Closeup

Our buddies over at YourCreativeFriends have gotten their hands on the new 2013 LEGO DC Universe Man of Steel Superman minifigure and has done a review on it. We’ve already seen images of it before but this is a nice closeup look of the minifigure. The version of Superman is based on the Man of Steel movie starring Henry Cavill and is to be released on June 14th. The minifig will be in 3 sets this year: Superman Metropolis Showdown (76002), Superman: Battle of Smallville (76003), and Superman: Black Zero Escape (76009).

LEGO Harlem Shake Videos

I’m a little late to this but the Harlem Shake dance has already hit viral levels and everyone and everything has joined the party. SpastikChuwawa has created a stop-motion video of the LEGO Avengers Super Heroes doing the dance with Iron Man taking the lead. To Hawkeye, you just be Hawkeye. Nicely made video, SpastikChuwawa.

In another video, the employees of LEGOLAND California has also done the Harlem Shake in Miniland USA. It’s nice to see the employees take a little time off to have a little (more) fun.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game - Iron Man

TT Games is hard at work developing the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game that is expected to be released October 31st. Today, they have released some new concept art featuring the Avengers as well well as other Super Heroes including Spider-Man and Wolverine. There is also artwork for some of the stages that you can expect to play in.

The game is now available for pre-order on Amazon on many systems including the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Playstation Vita, and the PC. There’s still no word yet on what the bonus for pre-ordering the game is but expecting something cool.

LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes Superman: Battle of Smallville (76003)

spieletest.at has released a video today showing a couple of the new LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes Man of Steel sets. The video features Superman: Battle of Smallville (76003) and Superman: Black Zero Escape (76009).

The Superman: Battle of Smallville set will feature five minifigures: Superman, Colonel Hardy, General Zod, Faora, and Tor-An. The set will include a tan military jeep that Hardy drives and a spacecraft that will sit Zod and his minions. The set contains 418 pieces and will retail for $49.99.

The Superman: Black Zero Escape set has three minifigures: Superman, General Zod, and Lois Lane. This set will include some sort of pod and as well as a chamber. It contains 168 pieces and will go for $19.99.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man Set Images

There are now images of the box art for the new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man Sets as well as the sets themselves. The sets were listed on the Barnes & Noble website with an estimated release date of March 15, 2013 for the Iron Man vs. The Mandarin: Ultimate Battle and May 15, 2013 for the other two sets.

Iron Man Extremis Sea Port Battle (76006) – 195 pieces. Here you can see we have 3 minifigures: Iron Man in the MK XLII armor, War Machine with his mini-gun on his right shoulder, and Aldrich Killian. The builds for the set includes a speedboat and a buoy.

The includes Mandarin’s helicopter, part of Tony Stark’s mansion where the Halls of Armor, and Tony’s robot arm assistant.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Available for Pre-Order on Amazon

The very highly anticipated LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game that was announced last month is now available for pre-order on Amazon for many of the video game systems including the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Playstation Vita, and the PC. The estimated release date for the game is October 31, 2013. There is no word yet if there are any exclusive minifigures included with the pre-order but given LEGO’s track record with recent releases, there’s a chance one might be included. Is anyone excited for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game as I am?

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man 2013 Hands On

In the past couple of days, we, along with YourCreativeFriends, reported there were new images of what appears to be new Iron Man minifigures from the 2013 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets. Now, YCF has gotten their hands on a couple of these minifigures and has done a early review of them.

For the Mark XLII suit, the helmet is the only only thing that’s the same as in the 2012 suits. The torso itself is mostly red but has gold printing for most of the front and about half in the back. The hands are also gold instead of red. The arc reactor is printed white. The front of the legs also has some of the gold printing. There is also some toe printing for the boots. What’s new about this version of Iron Man is his face printing. He has a confident expression on one side and a scared/worried expression on the other. Again, we believe the Mark XLII will be in the Malibu Mansion Attact (76006).

On the other suit, we still are not sure if it’s the Heartbreaker or another one. What we do know is that the helmet is new with some silver printing on the chin and blue eyes. The top of the helmet is also shaped a little different. The head is the same as in the 2012 versions. For the torso, the arc reactor is the same blue as the eyes and is strapped in with what looks to be a harness that wraps around the back … Continue
