LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain Marvel and Nick Fury (30453)

The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain Marvel and Nick Fury (30453) polybag has started showing up at Walmart stores and I was lucky enough to find one available for purchase. The polybag has 32 pieces and retails for $4.97 at Walmart. I’ll get to that a little later.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain Marvel and Nick Fury (30453) Available at Walmart

A few days ago, I reported that the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain Marvel and Nick Fury (30453) polybag was available at LEGOLAND California but it looks like it has also showed up at Walmart. I’ve been told that they are now available at various Walmart stores and according to Brickseek, it will be priced at $4.97. The SKU for it is 376020294 and the UPC is 673419322539.

The Nick Fury minifigure appears to be the same as the one in the Captain Marvel and the Skrull Attack (76127) while Captain Marvel is in her Vers Starforce outfit which was previously an exclusive minifigure for the SDCC 2019 Captain Marvel and the Asis (77902).

Thanks to Dio for the heads up.

If you’re heading to LEGOLAND California soon, I’ve been told that they have already started selling some 2020 LEGO sets. LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139) Designer Video

The LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139) has been available for a week now but LEGO today has released the designer video for the set. LEGO designers Chris Perron and Adam Grabowski along with graphic designer Ioana Popescu talk about some of the details that are in the set. I’m still waiting for my set to come in the mail and I’m very excited to start building it. The Batmobile is still available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home and you can also get the Mini Gingerbreak House (40337) for free with your purchase.

LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile – Limited Edition (40433) Building Instructions Now Available

If you weren’t able to get the LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile – Limited Edition (40433) set this past weekend due to it selling out quickly, you’ll be glad to know that LEGO has provided the building instructions for download. You’ll be glad to know that none of the parts are exclusive so you can easily build this set if you source out the parts from BrickLink. If you wish to have a sealed copy of the set, expect to pay upwards of $70 on the secondary market. Thanks to Joseph for the heads up.

LEGO Batman Limited Edition 1989 Batmobile (40433) Out of Stock

The LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139) became available at midnight EST on Shop@Home and as a bonus, LEGO also offered Limited Edition 1989 Batmobile (40433) with the purchase. It looks like the promo is no longer available at least for US Shop@Home but LEGO Brand Stores might still have them. The limited edition one was supposed to be available until December 5, while supplies last, but it didn’t even make it past one day as it doesn’t show up anymore in the cart. I’m not sure exactly when it went out of stock but it’s gone now.

If you were online last night trying to get it, a majority of shoppers were frustrated with Shop@Home because of all the site errors, which seems like the norm now for big releases. Hopefully those who wanted one got it even after the disastrous launch.

LEGO 2020 Polybags First Look

Brickset has posted new images of some 2020 LEGO polybags which has showed up on LEGO’s servers. Unfortunately, they are only thumbnails so they are a little bit blurry when blown up. Probably the most interesting one is the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain Marvel and Nick Fury polybag which is coming out pretty late since the movie and been out for quite a while. There’s also a LEGO Speed Champions polybag that is still unknown at this time with set number 30342.
