LEGO Hobbit Set Poster

Sometimes_snarky on Reddit posted a picture of a poster for the new LEGO The Hobbit sets from Toys R Us. Not sure yet of how the user got a hold of it yet. More details as they come.

**Update 1:** According to the user, “I had found all the bags to an open Republic Frigate set (7964) they thought they had lost. I jokingly asked if I got a prize or something. She gave me the poster and an additional 10% off the open box price.”

What I’m thinking is that Toys R Us will be giving them away with a purchase in the near future promotion. I haven’t heard anything about that yet.

**Update 2:** Sometimes_snarky has added individual pictures of the sets. You can see them here.

The sets shown are as follows:

Riddles For The Ring (79000)
An Unexpected Gathering (79003)
The Goblin King Battle (79010)
Barrel Escape (79004)
Attack of the Wargs (79002)
Escape From Mirkwood Spiders (79001)

Notice that the Barrel Escape and Escape From Mirkwood Spiders sets are marked with the label “Special The Hobbit Trilogy Preview Set.”

**Update 3:** I went to Toys R Us today to see if there was any information regarding the poster but the employees there didn’t seem to know about it. I looked behind the checkout counter to see if there was evidence of a giveaway but did not see anything to suggest that. Either they’re stored in the back or the employees really don’t know about … Continue
