LEGO Scooby-Doo and LEGO Ideas The Big Bang Theory (21302) Available at SDCC 2015

FBTB is reporting that the new LEGO Scooby-Doo sets as well as LEGO Ideas The Big Bang Theory (21302) will be available for purchase early at San Diego Comic Con. The sets will are scheduled to be released in August but convention attendees will get first crack at the sets. I’ll see if I can get my hands on them but I won’t be too sad if they are quickly sold out.

BBC Doctor Who Cast Voicing Characters in LEGO Dimensions

LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who

Entertainment Weekly has announced that the BBC’s Doctor Who cast of Peter Capaldi (Twelfth Doctor), Jenna Coleman (Clara), and Michelle Gomez (Missy) will be doing voices of their respective characters in LEGO Dimensions. All three will be included in the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204). The Level Pack will also include builds of the TARDIS as well as K-9. There’s no word on the release date of this particular expansion pack but I believe it’ll be released on September 27 along with a slew of other Fun Packs, Team Packs, and Level Packs.

If you’re attending San Diego Comic Con this week, you can try out LEGO Dimensions at the Hard Rock Hotel and get a limited edition print featuring Portal and Doctor Who, while supplies last.

LEGO BIONICLE SDCC 2015 Exclusive Skull Scorpio Mask Revealed

LEGO BIONICLE Skull Scorpio Mask SDCC 2015

The last LEGO exclusive giveaway for San Diego Comic Con 2015 isn’t a regular minifigure but a trans-neon green LEGO BIONICLE Skull Scorpio Mask. It isn’t as cool as the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Arsenal or LEGO Marvel Super Heroes All New Captain America (Sam Wilson) minifigures but fans will still line up to get this exclusive. There’s no packaging shown for the mask but it’ll probably look like the ones given away at NYCC last year. The LEGO BIONICLE Skull Scorpio Mask will be given away on Saturday.

LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) Featuring Peter Capaldi

LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204)

LEGO today has posted the first real-life image of the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) with Peter Capaldi holding a brick-built TARDIS. We previously saw the Doctor Who Level Pack on the back of some instructions and the set will contain the Twelfth Doctor with a sonic screwdriver as well as K-9. SDCC attendees will be able to play the Doctor Who level at the Hard Rock Hotel this Thursday through Saturday. As we know by now, Peter will be making an appearance at the Doctor Who panel at SDCC and who knows, he might even show up where LEGO Dimensions is set up for guests to try out.

Life-Size LEGO Models at SDCC 2015

Usually at the LEGO booth at San Diego Comic Con, there are life-size models of various characters from different themes. This year won’t be any different with the inclusion of the whole Scooby-Doo gang as well as The Mystery Machine. This model is made from 70,875 LEGO bricks and took over 525 hours to build it.

Another model that will be displayed at booth #2829 is LEGO Ninjago Lloyd. This version of Lloyd is the latest one where he is possessed by Morro and he is seen rappelling from the ceiling. This is the first time at SDCC that a model has done that. The model took 155 hours to create with 15,225 bricks.

I’m sure there will be more LEGO models being displayed at the booth and we’ll probably be seeing more as we get closer to next week.
