Amazon currently has the LEGO Ideas Voltron (21311) on sale for 11% off which is close to price matching Best Buy, of all places. This is about $20 off the retail price of $179.99 and we normally don’t see this set on sale. As I mentioned before, this is probably my favorite LEGO Ideas set and it was named my top LEGO set of 2018.

If you didn’t see it yet, LEGO has updated the Sales & Deals page over on LEGO Shop@Home. A majority of the sets are from The LEGO Movie 2 and I think one of the good deals is for Benny’s Space Squad (70841). It is now priced at $7.99 and you get four different space minifigures. If you’ve been waiting to get TLM2 sets at a discount, now is a good time to especially with some of the promotions that are going on right now. There’s the free Reversible Tote Bag with purchases of $200 which runs until August 14.

LEGO Batman Batmobile: Pursuit of The Joker (76119)

It’s August 1 and that means there are tons of new LEGO sets that are now available on LEGO Shop@Home. I didn’t really count but there are over 50 new sets ranging from the new Batman 80th Anniversary sets to the highly anticipated LEGO Hidden Side theme.

Remember there are some promotions going on at the beginning of the month. First is the free Reversible Tote Bag (5005910) with purchases of $200 or more. This runs from August 1-14, while supplies last. The other promotion is the free LEGO Jurassic World Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382) polybag with purchases of $35 or more on the JW sets. This promo runs from August 1-7.

The LEGO Movie 2 Welcome to Apocalypseburg! (70840) is back on sale over on Amazon. It is currently priced at $266.85 for the Frustration-Free Packaging which is 11% off the regular price of $299.99. This deal isn’t as good as the one earlier this month but a deal is a deal on any D2C sets. Also keep in mind that various LEGO stores have sales on some of the older The LEGO Movie 2 sets to make way for some of the new stuff that is coming out in a few days.

LEGO August 2019 Store Calendar Promotions & Events

LEGO has released the August 2019 Store Calendar and we can now see some of the upcoming promotions and events for the month.

August 1-7: Free LEGO Jurassic World Baby Velociraptor Playpen (30382) polybag with purchases of $35 or more on LEGO Jurassic World sets, while supplies last.

August 1-14: VIPs only. Free Reversible Tote Bag (5005910) with purchases of $200 or more, while supplies last.

August 1-31: LEGO Lab Demonstrations. There are live demonstrations using Technology, Robotics, Interactive, and Powered-Up sets.

August 4: Free LEGO Friends Mia’s Water Fun Pack (30410) with purchases of $35 or more, while supplies last.

August 6: LEGO Harley Davidson building event. Signups start on August 1 in-store only. Registration is required and there are limited quantities. Intended for ages 18+.

August 14 & 20: LEGO Ice Cream Truck building event. Signups start on August 2 in-stores only. Registration is required and there are limited quantities. Intended for ages 6-14.

Walmart is currently doing clearance sales in stores in which you can find some really good deals on older sets and Amazon has been price-matching them. They currently have a great sale on the LEGO Fantastic Beasts Newt’s Case of Magical Creatures (75952) which is going for $29.99. This is 40% off the regular price of $49.99 and I would highly recommend this set. It contains four minifigures as well as three buildable creatures and the transforming suitcase.

The LEGO Movie 2 Rex’s Rexplorer! (70835) Amazon Sale – July 2019

It’s been a while since I promoted some LEGO deals but I came across one for The LEGO Movie 2 with Rex’s Rexplorer! (70835). It has been discounted to $75.99 which is a whopping 37% off the retail price of $119.99. This makes the price per piece ratio go down to $0.06/piece which is really good for a set that has 1,172 pieces. It does state that it ships within 1 to 2 months but it’ll most likely ship before then.
