The LEGO Movie Video Game Achievement/Trophy Guide

The LEGO Movie Video Game

I’ve managed to complete The LEGO Movie Video Game on the Playstation 4 and have managed to get all the trophies associated with the game. Here’s an in-depth guide to completing everything the game has to offer including how to get all the Red Bricks to getting all the Golden Instruction pages. There are some things that you can easily do in Story Mode but the majority has to be done in Free Play since you will need specific abilities from various characters to do certain objectives. Hopefully this guide can help you out in your quest to getting the final “The Piece of Resistance” achievement.

The LEGO Movie “Untitled Self Portrait” by Batman

The LEGO Movie Batman

If you watched The LEGO Movie, you would know that Batman, voiced by Will Arnett, made a song for Wyldstyle. He played it while letting Emmet, Wyldstyle, and Vitruvius check out his new subwoofers. The song is called “Untitled Self Portrait” and it talks about how Batman is an orphan. AngryConfusedRabbit has created a video of the full song including the deep, mesmerizing lyrics. This song is the total opposite of “Everything is Awesome!” with its dark meaning while the other is very cheerful and happy. The song is available on the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

The LEGO Movie Video Game Review

The LEGO Movie Video Game was released the same day the actual movie came out. I’ve been playing it for the past week and here’s my take on it. Like many other LEGO video games, it was developed by Traveller’s Tales and retails for $49.99/$59.99 depending on which system you got the game on. This review will be based on the Playstation 4 version. **SPOILER ALERT**

Chracters

There are a totsl of 96 characters that you can unlock throughout the game including a majority of the ones that was seen in the actual movie. While playing through the story mode, you can unlock many of the characters after each stage is completed. Even though you’ve “unlocked” them, you would still need enough studs to purchase them for use although a number of the major characters are given to you for free.

Each character has their own abilities and some are a lot more useful than others. For example, I would mainly use characters that can do multiple things such as Superman who can fly and destroy gold bricks. Another character that I would use a lot is Wonder Woman because she can also fly as well as use her lasso at grapple points.

All characters unlocked on The LEGO Movie Video Game.

Gameplay

Like other LEGO games, The LEGO Movie follows the same forumla with its Story mode and Free Play mode. In the story mode, you are assigned various characters to use and you have to solve puzzles to complete the level. You will find that some puzzles you are not able to complete … Continue

Could The LEGO Movie Pyjamas Emmet Be Purchased at Best Buy?

The LEGO Movie Pyjamas Emmet Polybag

If you’ve been trying to get The LEGO Movie Pyjamas Emmet (5002045) minifigure polybag, Best Buy could be your answer. Best Buy was having a promotion of having the minifigure as a bonus for purchasing The LEGO Movie Video Game. According to a user on Reddit, a user purchased them separately without buying the game as seen from the image below. I’m not sure if this is allowed by store policy but it doesn’t hurt to go try and see. If you’ve tried purchasing Pyjamas Emmet this way, let us know in the comments below if it worked or not.

The LEGO Movie McDonald’s Action Cups Review

The LEGO Movie Happy Meal Action Cups

The LEGO Movie Action Cups are now available at McDonald’s and I’ve managed to collect all 8 cups. The action part of the cups is the lenticular feature that they have. Each cup features a portrait of a character in the movie with their names as well as a scene that changes. If you haven’t seen the movie yet (what are you waiting for?), the some scenes on the cups may contain spoilers.

Emmet

Emmet’s cup shows him smiling and holding a hammer. The scene shows him falling into another brick dimension.
