EclipseGRAFX Custom LEGO Stan Lee Excelsior Minifigure Review

Back during Black Friday last month, EclipseGRAFX released a limited edition Excelsior minifigure set which is basically a custom LEGO minifigure of Stan Lee to celebrate his life. Some of the items that were in the set include a custom tin, the Stan Lee minifigure, a card similar to the style of the 1990 Impel Marvel Universe cards, a custom sticker, and a custom 2×3 printed tile. If you pre-ordered last month, you also get a custom printed window pane.

As for the Stan Lee minifigure,he has a tan jacket that is hiding his blue Fantastic Four outfit underneath. The legs show him with tan pants and there’s printing for some white shoes. His head has printing of his signature sunglasses with a happy smile. His accessories include Captain America’s shield and some webbing.

The other items in the set are cool and are nice additions especially the window pane and the card. I would’ve been just fine with the minifigure but the extras are just icing on the cake. They’ve also thrown in some of their other products. I got a white balaclava, cell phone, and a 1×4 purple brick with the company logo.

You can still purchase the custom LEGO Stan Lee Excelsior minifigure over at EclipseGRAFX for $25 plus shipping but you won’t get the printed window since it’s past the pre-order time period. We probably won’t see an official Stan Lee LEGO minifigure but this is probably the best custom minifigure that I’ve seen and at a reasonable price.
