We’ve already reported on a rumored list of the Series 18 LEGO Collectible Minifigures and it looks like Croatian toy store Dexy Co Kids has given us a first look at a couple of these minifigures. Over on their promotional scroller on the homepage, there are a couple of minifigures shown that match up to some of the rumored ones that are coming out including the Red Suit Brick Guy, the Blue Brick Girl, the Cowboy Suit Guy, and the Orange Balloon LEGO Fan Boy. These aren’t the official names of the characters but they do describe what they look like. It is reported that Series 18 will be released in April.

They did a mariachi with one recently, but that’s as close as they’ve ever gotten to Roy Rogers.
So…they just made a balloon bottom _two_years_ago_, and now they’re making it redundant with a new balloon element?
And the tail isn’t even knotted shut!
I love how the designers of train sets several years ago had to fight for new train wheel molds.
Yet we get three different balloons in like three years?
Two. The first one (the “third”) was a pot that happened to work as a balloon bottom. The second was clearly designed to work as a balloon bottom, and was made specifically for Angry Birds. The third is a dedicated balloon.
The Angry Birds balloon has a few advantages. It can be made longer by adding in round 2×2 round bricks and/or plates. It can be used independently as something other than a balloon. It can be used to make a two-tone balloon (perhaps as nano-scale hot air balloons?).
Okay…. What exactly is your point?

Not that it matters too much, but DexyCo Kids is from Serbia. Interesting minifigs nontheless!
I like how the balloon kid holds a little tile with a blind bag print on it. If i’m not mistaken that’s supposed to be a series 1 bag
