News coming out from FBTB is that all of the LEGO sets coming out in January 2013 that were on sale on Amazon have been delayed and put on hold. The add to cart button has been set to pre-orders and the sets won’t be released until December 31. I believe all orders placed before today will still be shipped to you just in time for Chirstmas. Speculation from FBTB is that Amazon violated it’s contract with Toys R Us which gives TRU the right to sell products to the market first. As you may have seen, we’ve been reporting that many LEGO themes including Ninjago, Super Heroes, and Star Wars have been on sale ahead of the scheduled release dates. Even the Galaxy Squad sets have been taken off although LEGO has already released them in stores as well as [email protected]. If you were lucky to order any of the new 2013 sets, congratulations. For the rest of us, it looks like we’ll just have to wait a couple of weeks for the official LEGO release.
