The Examiner is reporting that there will be a new LEGO Architecture set being released in July. The new LEGO Architecture Studio (21050) set will consist of 1210 monochromatic pieces. The Barnes & Noble brick and mortar store in Oceanside, CA will be holding the first-ever LEGO Architecture event on Friday, July 26, 2013, at 6 p.m. David Parker, Architecture Professor from MiraCosta College, will be the guest speaker and will be talking about crucial aspects of the design process in architecture using LEGO bricks as a demonstration. Participants will also have an opportunity to build things using the new set. The event is free to the public and there is a limited space for the event. The store will give customers a first look at the Studio set and will also be selling the set from July 25-28. LEGO brand stores will also be selling the set although there is no pricing as of this writing. The location of the B&N the event will be held at is 2615 Vista Way, Oceanside, CA 92054.
**Update: The event is held in many select stores. Head over to the Barnes & Noble site and enter your city or zip code to find the closest location that is holding the event.**

I’m in the San Francisco Bay Area…. there are a series of LEGO Architecture events at different B&N’s from the 25th through the 27th. I never would have known had I not stumbled across your post. Thank you!!!
You’re welcome! I didn’t even know that the event would be held at other B&N stores. I thought it was a local event since I didn’t hear about it anywhere else.
Our local B&N (Buford, GA) will be holding this same event later this month. I’ll be there!
Awesome!
same event at a BN in Paramus, NJ. 7p July 26.
Super Excited!

It’s a national event (http://store-locator.barnesandnoble.com/event/4445616), but B&N was slow in posting a central event page — a month ago, promotion was local to each store’s website and local media. Also, #21050 still doesn’t appear on the LEGO Architecture subsite (http://architecture.lego.com/en-us/) or Shop At Home, so (aside from this box photo) there’s no way to determine “is this an event called ‘Architecture Studio’ or is it a set with that name?”
Just picked up this set from Legoland California
Here are images of the box from all angles that I took

Nice! How much was it going for?

is there anywhere in australia/singapore/malaysia can i purchase this set? or any other website that ships it internationally?
I’m not sure of any of those countries sell the set. I know Shop@Home ships to Australia though. You may also want to check Amazon or eBay as well. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
