LEGO has just announced the latest winner of the LEGO Ideas Second 2017 Review Stage. There were six projects that qualified for the review and the winner is…nobody. I could be wrong but as far as I remember, this is the second time that no projects have passed a review stage with the first one being the First 2015 Review Stage. The review board takes into account various factors on whether or not a project passes including:

– Products currently available in stores
– New (and confidential) products currently being developed internally
– Licensing possibilities and conflicts
– Production capacity
– Build quality
– Feasibility
– Playability
– Expected demand
– Brand fit
