Very nice looking set! The detail looks amazing! But, Is it just me, or does the Ancient One appear to be a bald woman in farm-like overalls, instead of an old orient man as in the comics? Is she supposed to be the one seen in the trailer, and if so, shouldn’t she be dressed in those fancy white robes?
Anyways, I think the other characters, especially Doctor Strange, look exceptionally cool; but I do think they really could have tweaked the appearance of the Ancient One, as she had the most potential to look like a boss. (Her duel fans look awesome. BTW!)
Oh well, either way, this is going to be an increasingly expensive year for me, LEGO-wise, and this set is only going to add even more to the cost… 😀
Will get this the first day it comes out. Price point is good. Agree that the Ancient One looks really, really odd. Tilda Swinton was badly miscast in the role and I would have much, much preferred the traditional character.
What would the price point be? Because it’s 50 Yen which is about $50 and to me that price is way too much.
I stated in the post that it’s $29.99.
This is what happens when you read the news without your glasses.
GREAT price point for a nifty little set. I’m thinking it will look great connected with the Big Bang Theory set!
YEAH! Already on my list!
