LEGO Monkie Kid White Dragon Horse Bike (80006)

The next LEGO Monkie Kid set that I want to take a look at is the smallest one in the wave with the White Dragon Horse Bike (80006). It has 259 pieces and retails for a slightly high $34.99. The contents of the box include four numbered bags, two instruction booklets, and a sticker sheet.

Minifigures

There are four minifigures in this set, Monkie Kid, Mei, Snort, and Bob. Monkie Kid flame-orange jacket and red pants outfit is to the ones in the other sets. He has a double-sided head which shows him with a light-hearted expression on one side and an angry expression on the other. His accessory is the Golden Staff.

Next up is Monkie Kid’s friend Mei. She has on a white outfit that has a green dragon design going around it. She also has a double-sided head with a smile on one side and an angry look on the other. Her hair piece is a cool looking one with some buns on top. Her accessories include the helmet for the suit as well as her White Dragon Horse sword. The sword kind of reminds me of Saba from Power Rangers.

Lastly, we have Snort and Bob. The torso shows them with a mechanical armor with some nice detailing on both sides. The head is just a trans-orange round brick and looks good with the helmet on. Their accessories include a flame sword and a hammer. The way to distinguish which is which is by the way the horns on the helmet are situated. Bob has one horn facing down.

Build

The first part of the build is for Monkie Kid’s Cloud Board. It is basically a four rotor hoverboard in similar colors as his outfit. The rotors are printed round tiles but the orange board has a couple of stickers showing some Monkie Kid symbols.

The middle section has a ramp along with a fire gate. There’s a small handle that lets you lift and drop the gate. The ramp has a large sticker.

Results

Overall the LEGO Monkie Kid White Dragon Horse Bike (80006) is a decent set but the price of it is a bit on the higher side compared to the number of pieces you get. The White Dragon Horse Bike itself is the highlight of the set along with Mei. The hideout is a bit of a letdown because it’s not really a hideout. Some more pieces added on to this area would have justified the price point that it is currently at.
