LEGO Seasonal Iconic Easter 2018 (5005249)

Late last year, an image of the LEGO Seasonal Iconic Easter 2018 (5005249) surfaced online and now we have the official image of the set. Brickshop.nl has listed the set available starting in March but we’ll see if there is a promotion for it on Shop@Home when the March Store Calendar is available in a few weeks. The set basically consists of a minifigure with a new torso and a pair of bunny ears along with a paintbrush and an egg as accessories. Like before, the minifigure will come in a cardboard box.

For last year’s Iconic Easter (5004468) set, it was originally available for purchase at Toys R Us at the end of February and subsequently a promo at TRU. It eventually became an unannounced promotion on Shop@Home which only lasted for a few days.

I’ll let you guys know when it will become available and at what retailer as soon as there’s news about it.

Cute, although I hope we don’t have to spend 100 bucks or something to get it lol

nice figure, and these types of promotions make all the difference when it comes to where I’m picking stuff up from. My only nit-picky comment is that the white printing on the torso doesn’t go far enough down, and therefor their is a weird blue stripe where there should be none.

New color of paint brush, no?

Yes, previously they have always had the same spotch of green paint on the bristles. The rest of the brush (which has appeared in 12 sets!) appears to be the same as before, though. The egg is the first to be decorated, the head appears to possibly be a new deco, and the torso is definitely original. This is likely to be very popular, given that it’s a bit more than just a straight recolor. The brush and the egg will probably prove just as popular as the bunny-suit guy.

I’d still prefer to see one in a shade of pink, especially with matching short legs. Just no human clothing, since that wasn’t part of the movie costume…
