We have now reached the halfway point of the LEGO Star Wars 2013 Advent Calendar (75023). What will we be getting today?
Yesterday, we got the AT-TE with an awkward-looking stud on the top. We now know what that stud is for. For Day 12, we have the Republic Dropship or the LAAT/c (Low Altitude Assault Transport/carrier). It was first seen in Episode II transporting the AT-TEs into combat.
The Dropship has a simple look with a mostly white color scheme and a dark blue underside. I believe this mini model is the first one ever to connect to another model from a different day. Overall, I really like the look of both models combined together.
