LEGO will have a slew of promotions going on for the LEGO Star Wars May the 4th celebration and one of them for 2023 is the Return of the Jedi 40th Collectible (5007840). It will be available from May 1-7 with purchases of $85 in LEGO Star Wars.
Everything comes in a fairly small box. When you open up the flap, you’re greeted with a card that shows you how to prop up the inner box.
The blueprint card is made of a harder plastic with it being etched with the Death Star II blueprint along with some LEGO bricks surrounded it.
Like with other coins, this one also has some heft to it. On one side, you have the outline of Death Star II while the other has the LEGO Star Wars logo. Contrary to what the promo image shows, you only get one coin.
To prop up the inner box, you just put the card that was on top on the back and it should hold up the box with no issues.
If you’re a fan of these kinds of collectibles, the whole thing is pretty well made and you can feel the quality of the items. The blueprint card doesn’t seem like much but when put on top of the coin, the outlines are more prominent.
If you’re planning your purchases for the flagship promo which is the Death Star II (40591) set, you’ll most likely get this one thrown in as you can stack multiple promotions together.
Thank you to LEGO for sending in this set for me to review. The content above represents my own opinion and not the company. Review sets sent in does not guarantee a positive review.
