LEGOLAND California Star Wars Days 2014

Star Wars Days at LEGOLAND California is almost here and FBTB has information on how you can participate in their annual Fan Gallery in the area on top of The Model Shop. If you haven’t attended Star Wars Days before, the Fan Gallery is pretty much a collection of Star Wars themed MOCs that local builders bring to show the public. You can check out the builds from last year here.

There are some incentives this year to volunteering your time and/or bringing a MOC. For just volunteering, you can get a Star Wars Days 2015 T-shirt, free entry to the park and lunch for the day of your shift. Each shift consists of a total of four hours.

For bringing a MOC, you get free entry to the park for both days of the event as well as lunch, and “exclusive” minifigure, a discount coupon for The Big Shop (20% off of up to 5 items), and a pair of complimentary passes to the park for future use.

Also for bringing a MOC, there are also prizes for best builds in a particular category (Empire Strikes Back Vignettes, Star Wars Comic Bricks, Star Wars Cube Dudes Diorama, Evolved Starfighters, and The General Category). To read more on those prizes, head over to the FBTB link above to see what you could possibly win if you bring a MOC and it is chosen as a winner. You can also contact Ace if you have any questions.

Star Wars Days will be happening this year at LEGOLAND California on March 7 & 8. On March 5th, they will be revealing the new Death Star scene at the Star Wars Miniland. While you’re at the park, you can also check out The LEGO Movie Experience if you haven’t seen it before. I plan on attending and trying to cover the event barring any unforeseen circumstances so I hope to see some of you guys there.
