The LEGO Batman Movie The Bat-Space Shuttle (70923)

There are now official images of the next wave of The LEGO Batman Movie sets. We’ve already seen some of the sets in The LEGO Batman Movie: The Making of the Movie book but we now get to seen them as we normally would. There are five new sets along with another wave of Collectible Minifigures (71020). All of the sets will be available starting in January.

Build Your LEGO Ideas Logo Contest

Next year will be a decade since the Japanese launch of LEGO CUUSOO and LEGO is holding a contest to celebrate the event. All you have to do is to create a LEGO Ideas logo using physical bricks or digitally. The deadline for submissions is December 15, 2017 at 10am EST. The grand prize winner will get an assortment of some of the current LEGO Ideas sets including:

-21306 Yellow Submarine
-21307 Caterham Super Seven
-21308 Adventure Time
-21309 LEGO NASA Apollo Saturn V
-21310 Old Fishing Store, all signed by their respective LEGO designers.
-21312 Women of NASA, signed by the LEGO designer and fan designer.

There are also be two runners up who will each get:

-21309 NASA Apollo Saturn V signed by the LEGO designers.
-21312 Women of NASA, signed by both the LEGO designer and the fan designer.

The judging will be based on several criteria including:

– Most inspired details: 25%
– Relevance to contest theme of LEGO Ideas: 25%

LEGO has officially revealed the limited edition collector’s edition LEGO Star Wars Brickheadz featuring Rey & Kylo Ren (41489). I believe that this combo pack is a Target exclusive as it has already shown up at stores. It will retail for $19.99 and the DPCI# is 204-00-0293 if you are look for it.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Launch Trailer

Today is the official launch day of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 here in the US and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released the launch trailer for the game. LEGO Creator Winter Village Station (10259) Review

Traditionally, LEGO has released a new set every year for their Winter Village line and for this year’s offering, we have the Winter Village Station (10259). It has 902 pieces and retails for $79.99 which may or may not be a good value but we’ll see. The contents of the box incldue 9 numbered bags, the instruction booklets, and the train tracks.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Comic Book Covers

On the eve of the release of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, Marvel has released more images of some of the LEGO comic book covers that you’ll be able to collect in game. There are initally 20 LEGO-style classic Marvel covers illustrated by Dan Veesenmeyer that you’ll be able to find when the game drops tomorrow which has covers from the Golden Age all the way up to modern ones. LEGO Ninjago 2018 Official Set Images

There are now images of some of the 2018 LEGO Ninjago sets featuring the next storyline, Sons of Garmadon. We first heard about the storyline at SDCC during the summer and now we get to see some of the sets for it. I’ll keep this post updated as more images are available including the box art.
