LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes SDCC 2016 Atom Exclusive Minifigure Revealed

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes SDCC 2016 Atom

LEGO has officially revealed another exclusive minifigure that will be given away next week at San Diego Comic Con 2016 which is the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Atom (Ray Palmer) from the CW’s Arrow, Flash, and the Legends of Tomorrow series. You also get a printed 4×4 plate decorated with Ray Palmer’s company, Palmer Technologies. Atom will be given away on Thursday, July 21 and on Saturday, July 23.

A few days ago, LEGO also revealed the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Steve Rogers Captain America as one of the exclusives at the event.

The minifigures will be given away in the Pavilion Terrace starting at 12:30pm but they usually start it a little earlier. LEGO will also be doing the giveaways on Twitter if you aren’t able to make it to SDCC.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 16 (71013) Box Distribution

As you probably saw from yesterday’s post about the LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 16 (71013) being available in stores, there are some new details about them. It seems that there are reports the street date for them is possibly tomorrow, July 18. There is also a box breakdown of the minifigure distribution from CM4Sci on Eurobricks:

5 per box

Banana Guy
Arabian Knight
Spy

4 per box

Serenader
Imp
Hiker
Rogue
Dog Show Judge
Spooky Boy

3 per box

Babysitter
Pirate
Cyborg
Ice Queen
Penguin
Kickboxer
Wildlife Photographer

If you’re searching for some of the more highly sought-after minifigures like the Babysitter, Penguin Guy, or the Wildlife Photographer, you might have a harder time finding them since they only come three in a box. However, a popular one like the Banana Guy should be plentiful. I’ll have my “feel guide” for the Series 16 Collectible Minifigures up in a day or so stay tuned if you’re waiting for it.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 16 (71013) Already Being Sold?

It appears that the LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 16 (71013) has starting to hit some stores like Toy R Us as well as some LEGO Stores. Considering that there has been any official news or announcements on this latest wave from LEGO, it’s interesting to see them being sold so early since they were scheduled for a September release. LEGO sleuth CM4Sci has been doing some phone calling and has found out that:

They want the Disney series to come back in September so it can be sold alongside the Disney castle, so they pushed Series 16 up.

I’m not sure if this is legitimate from LEGO but remember we do have the general release of the LEGO Disney Castle (71040) on September 1 while VIPs can get it from August 17-31. If you’ve been waiting for Series 16 to come out, you may want to check around because they might be already out in the wild and you might get lucky. Let us know in the comments if you did indeed find them available for purchase in stores.

I’m not sure where the image above came from as I linked it from Eurobricks, so let me know so I can give credit.

LEGO Dimensions Green Arrow (71342) Given Away at SDCC 2016 Dimensions Panel

LEGO Dimensions Green Arrow (71342) E3 Promo

Remember a few months ago, when it was revealed that the LEGO Dimensions Green Arrow (71342) polybag was given out at E3 2016? It looks like that the same polybag will be given out at San Diego Comic Con next week during the LEGO Dimensions panel on Sunday, July 24. Attendees will be given the Green Arrow polybag upon entry to the panel as a “thank you” for attending the panel. Hopefully there aren’t people that just go there to get the polybag and leave right after but I’m pretty sure there will be.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, and The LEGO Group offer Comic-Con attendees a new glimpse inside the ever-expanding realm of LEGO Dimensions. Be among the first to see a new trailer, new characters, and game features in this unparalleled mash-up game experience. Featuring key members of the TT Games development team and voice acting talent. All attendees will receive a limited-edition LEGO Green Arrow minifigure! LEGO Dimensions is now available for PlayStation4 and PlayStation3 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the Wii U system.

The pack features what looks like the entrance of the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA) and a Newt Scamander minifigure along with a brick-built Niffler. We first saw an image of the Newt Scamander minifigure from the E3 trailer last month.

The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Story Pack allows you to play through six levels from the movie with with scenes and quotes from the film. The story pack will be available in November and retails for £39.99 which is $49.99 here in the US, similar to the Ghostbusters Story Pack (71242).
