LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Launch Trailer

Today is the official launch day of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 here in the US and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released the launch trailer for the game. I’ve been playing it for a few days now and I’ll have my review of it in a few days but in the meantime, check out the launch trailer below.

Traditionally, LEGO has released a new set every year for their Winter Village line and for this year’s offering, we have the Winter Village Station (10259). It has 902 pieces and retails for $79.99 which may or may not be a good value but we’ll see. The contents of the box incldue 9 numbered bags, the instruction booklets, and the train tracks.

On the eve of the release of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, Marvel has released more images of some of the LEGO comic book covers that you’ll be able to collect in game. There are initally 20 LEGO-style classic Marvel covers illustrated by Dan Veesenmeyer that you’ll be able to find when the game drops tomorrow which has covers from the Golden Age all the way up to modern ones. The third week of the Target holiday promotions are now underway and for this week you can get the LEGO Star Wars Micro Millennium Falcon polybag. You can get it for free with a purchase of $24.99 or more on LEGO Star Wars products or you can get it by itself for $4.99 each. This micro Millennium Falcon appears to be the same exact build as the one from the 2015 Star Wars Celebration. The only difference is the printed baseplate. If you’re searching for it in store, the DPCI# is 204-00-0266.

Limited Edition Black LEGO VIP Card Now Shipping

For those who were lucky enough to order LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) when it became available, you’ll be glad to know that the limited edition black LEGO VIP card that goes with it will be arriving in your mailbox by the end of the month. A reader named Jason has sent over a screenshot of the email that he received from LEGO saying that his card was on the way.

If you didn’t know, the black VIP card also comes with exclusive LEGO Star Wars rewards and benefits its in 2018 but there’s no word yet on what they would entail. As for the black VIP card itself, you can only get it you were able to purchase the UCS Millennium Falcon (75192) in-store or online by the end of 2017. Since stock on the Falcon has been pretty low to non-existent, especially on Shop@Home, there’s a high chance that you probably won’t be able to get your hands on one. Were you able to get the Falcon and did you get the email for the VIP card?

The LEGO Batman Movie Wave 2 Collectible Minifigures (71020) List

A few months back, there were rumors of a second wave of The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures (71020) and it looks like we now know who will be included in this wave of 20. These minifigures should be hitting store shelves late this year, early next year. We’ll have to wait for LEGO to reveal the official images of them. One thing to note is that, there is only two variants of Batman in this wave.
