LEGO Disney Cinderella Castle (71040) Rumored to be Released in September

If you can’t get enough of the LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures (71012), today over on Eurobricks, CM4Sci has revealed that there will be a direct-to-consumer LEGO Disney Cinderalla Castle (71040) that is scheduled to be released in September.

There are no concrete details on the castle at this time but I’m assuming that it will be based either on the Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World or the castle from the movie.

As for the minifigures, CM4Sci also mentioned that they will be the standard minifigures and not minidolls. If you’re collecting the Disney Collectible Minifigures, you’ll notice that Goofy or Pluto aren’t included and I’m guessing they’ll be part of this set along with some other main characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy. It’s also rumored that Tinkerbell would be included as well.

So after reading this piece of news, what do you guys think about it? Let us know in the comments below.

LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures (71012) Feel Guide

LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures (71012)

It isn’t that long until the release of the LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures (71012) or if you’re lucky, you may already have some at your local Target stores. I’ve been asked this by quite a few number of readers so here’s my “feel guide” for the Disney Minifigures. Good luck on your search!

Stitch

Stitch is one of three minifigures in the series to have short legs. His molded head with the two large ears should be easy to feel for.

Alien

As the second minifigure with short legs, you should be feeling for the head piece as well but this time for the antenna on top of the head.

Buzz Lightyear

Buzz Lightyear should be fairly easy with the wings on the jetpack.

Aladdin

Since there are two minifigures in this series that have the lamp piece, I would still suggest feeling for it. Genie will be easier to pick out because of the “leg” tail piece he has so if you don’t feel it, it will be Aladdin.

Genie

As mentioned above for Genie, you should be feeling for the curvy tail piece.

Maleficent

For Maleficent, she has many identifiers including the sloped dress piece and the horned headdress.

Alice

Alice is one of two minifigures that have the new skirt piece. I would suggest feeling for the 1×1 round tile or the bottle to confirm.

Cheshire Cat

For the Cheshire, I would feel for the tail piece which is the longest of the tail pieces in this wave and is similar to Rocket … Continue

Custom LEGO Ideas Mazes from the LEGO Community

LEGO Ideas Maze (21305)

The LEGO Ideas Maze (21305)icon has been available for a few weeks now and I’ve been seeing quite a few custom mazes that the community has created. Of course, you have Jason Allemann (JK Brickworks) with the original design as well as a motorized mini golf maze which you can see it going in the video below. Some features of it include a swinging block, the rolling gate, and of course the motorized windmill.

Motorized Mini Golf Maze

Another one from JK Brickworks is his Legends of the Sea which features an underwater scene filled with many objects like a broken in half sunken ship, ancient ruins, and the Kraken.

Marble Maze (Labyrinth) - Legends of the Sea

On to maze designs that I’ve seen not created by Jason include Benny’s Maze by Marcus_Aurelius2 over on Reddit. It shows a very cool design that is made to look like Benny’s Spaceship.

Another very cool one that I’ve found was a Star Wars scene by Chun-Wei Cheng that includes many microbuilds like the X-Wing, TIE Fighter, AT-AT, and the Death Star.

01-star wars maze

John Stephens over on Flickr has created a futuristic factory-themed maze that has robotic arms and the dangling chains which I really like.

Factory Frenzy

Over on Instagram, brick_rhodes has created a golf-themed maze. The main feature is that you have to “drive” the ball off the tee. Although not a real maze, per-se, you have to guide the ball while avoiding traps like the sand traps and water.

Finally, we have two mazes by LeeMcG, one of which is a hidden maze. The idea is to … Continue
