LEGO Ideas The Addams Family Mansion Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Addams Family Mansion by afol777 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project features the mansion from the original The Addams Family TV sitcom from the 60s and is a tribute to show. There are many details packed into it which ends up to be a pretty large model made up of over 7,000 pieces. Of course if it is to become an official set, it’ll have to be scaled down substantially.

The Addams Family Mansion joins Voltron – Defender of the Universe and Spaceballs – Eagle 5 as the projects that qualify for the Second 2016 Review Stage.

LEGO DFB – The Mannschaft Minifigure Series (71014) Completely Sold Out

LEGO DFB German National Football Team Minifigure Series (71014)

Less than a month after the release of the LEGO DFB – The Mannschaft Minifigure Series (71014), it is now completely sold out and LEGO will not be producing any more. If you didn’t know, they were only available in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as well as on Shop@Home Europe. The only way now to get them is probably through eBay or BrickLink unless you know someone that was able to get them. If you were one of the lucky ones that was able to get them, consider yourself pretty lucky as there was a very limited run of these minifigures.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game Character Vignettes

The past few weeks Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released short character vignettes of some of the playable characters in the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game. So far, they have released videos of Poe Dameron, Finn, and BB-8 which shows off some of the in-game scenes and gameplay. The game also features original dialogue by the actors so it’s not just a straight-on movie port over.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Video Game will be available in just a few short weeks on June 28 and if you get the Season Pass, you’ll be getting a lot of additional content along with the game. If you haven’t checked out what will be included, head on over to my other post.

I’m guessing WB will be continuing to release videos of more playable characters so I’ll update this post as they come out.

LEGO Star Wars Rebel A-Wing Pilot (5004408) Available at LEGOLAND California as Star Wars Days Promo

LEGO Star Wars Rebel A-Wing Pilot

A couple of weeks back, it was revealed that there was a new LEGO Star Wars Rebel A-Wing Pilot (5004408) minifigure polybag. There was no details on how to obtain it until today. My friend John was at LEGOLAND California today for Star Wars Days and one of the promotions in the shop was a free gift with purchase of $30 or more on any LEGO products which was the Rebel A-Wing Pilot.

As of this point, this weekend is the only way to obtain the minifigure that I know of so if you know any people who live close by to LEGOLAND California, you may want to ask them to pick it up for you. I’ll let you guys know if this polybag will be available anywhere else.

LEGO Creator London Bus (40220) Polybag Revealed

LEGO Creator London Bus (40220)

Earlier today, Brickset uploaded an image of a new LEGO Creator London Bus (40220) polybag which features a double decker bus. There’s no word on how to obtain the polybag at this point as there is nothing listed on the LEGO Store calendar for July. We’ll have to wait and see if it is part of an August promo or not since the it goes great with the upcoming LEGO Creator Big Ben (10253) which will be releasing mid-June for VIPs and to the general public on July 1.

We’ll also have to see if this is a regional set or not as it does feature something prominent from the UK and we usually don’t get stuff like that here in the US. If it is, you can always build your own with the instructions but you’ll be missing the stickers for the advertisements on the sides of the bus.
