Earlier today, TT Games released a new open world trailer for the upcoming LEGO Marvel Avengers video game. In the video below, you can see various locations that you will be able to play at including Asgard, Sokovia, South Africa, SHIELD Base Exterior, Barton Farm, Malibu, Washington DC, and of course New York City. In the video, there are also glimpses of some unannounced playable characters that will be in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers.
Also don’t forget, if you pre-order the game from Gamestop, you also get the exclusive Silver Centurion Mark XXXIII Iron Man LEGO minifigure as a bonus. The game will be available on January 26, 2016.
The past month or so, we’ve been talking about the rumored LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures (71012) and that there’ll be 18 characters to collect. Over on Eurobricks, Robert8 has referenced an Ukrainian site which has listed a potential lineup for the Disney Minifigures. What’s interesting is that the list also contains names that we’ve already seen rumors of like Peter Pan and Captain Hook. If you look at the bottom of the list, there are also some characters from the movie Inside Out. Also note that some iconic Disney characters like Goofy have been omitted so this could mean future waves as well. Keep in mind that this list could be false but we’ll see in a few months.

Today we get another gift for the Endor theme for the LEGO Star Wars 2015 Advent Calendar (75097).
In the beginning of 2016, the new LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827) will be available for purchase. I didn’t post this last month but Sergio from Swiss Ghostbusters raised an issue about the similarities between his project on LEGO Ideas and the official set which you can read here. Anyways he received a set from LEGO and has done a timelapse build video as well as a showing off some of the details on it. If you’re on the fence on whether to pick it up or not, check out the video below.

It’s another day and we get another item for the LEGO Star Wars 2015 Advent Calendar (75097).
A few months ago, it was revealed that there would be a new LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes polybag featuring Cosmic Boy (30604). Today, Nerdist has a new exclusive trailer for the LEGO DC Comics Superheroes – Justice League: Cosmic Clash direct-to-video Blu-Ray/DVD. In the trailer, the movie introduces the members of the Legion of Super-Heroes including Lightning Lad, Cosmic Boy, and Saturn Girl as well as new villains like Vandal Savage and Captain Fear. We already have Lightning Lad from the Target LEGO 2015 Minifigure Box Set (5004077) and included with this movie is Cosmic Boy.
One thing LEGO has done differently with this minifigure is that it’s not in a clamshell like previous movies. This is a bummer for polybag collectors as you’ll probably want to get two copies of Cosmic Boy so you can open one of them and keep one sealed. The Blu-Ray/DVD will be available on March 1 while the Digital HD version will be available on February 9. Now we just need a Saturn Girl minifigure and the founding members of the Legion of Super-Heroes will be complete…
