LEGO Ideas WALL·E (21303) Available Again on Shop@Home

LEGO Ideas WALL•E (21303)

If you’ve been waiting for the LEGO Ideas WALL·E (21303) to come back in stock, wait no more. LEGO has listed the set as available for purchase again on Shop@Homeicon. Presumably, LEGO has fixed the issues the set had with the neck and head since it was initially released back in September. Many people have been waiting to see when it would come back but WALL·E (21303) has shown up just in time for the holiday shopping season.

Update: It looks like it’s out of stock again.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO (5002948) Minifigure Polybag Review

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO (5002948)

Toys R Us has finally started their promotion for the free LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO (5002948) minifigure polybag. You can get it with purchases of LEGO Star Wars purchases of $40 or more. If you’re lucky, you can purchase it for $3.99 each.

The polybag features C-3PO 30 years after Return of the Jedi. Although the image shown on the polybag makes him look metallic, C-3PO is actually the flat pearl-gold color we’ve seen before. He does have some new side arm printing as well as on the legs. The most notable difference is the red arm that he currently has which also has some arm printing. There’s no word yet on how he got the arm but there will be a special one-shot from Marvel in December that will reveal what happened.

Again, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens C-3PO (5002948) minifigure polybag is currently free with purchases at Toys R Us. As far as I know, the stores in the San Diego area had around 200 each when I last checked on Saturday. Any that are left over after the promo, can be purchased normally. I would like to give a special thanks to fellow reader Daniel who sent this polybag in.

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Cosmic Boy (30604) is a Minifigure Polybag

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Cosmic Boy (30604)

A few weeks ago, we reported that there would be a LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Cosmic Boy (30604) minifigure coming out sometime in the future. It was shown as a loose minifigure and I first thought that it would be part of a character encyclopedia or the LEGO Super Heroes DC Comics – Justice League: Cosmic Clash DVD. Brickset has now showing Cosmic Boy as a minifigure polybag which kind of ruins my theories because the exclusive minifigures found with DK books and LEGO movies aren’t normally contained in polybags. The only other explanation I can think of is that it’s going to be part of a LEGO promotion next year. Also notice the cool Legion of Super Heroes logo on the bottom right. Perhaps LEGO will continue promoting those characters from the team next year as well. I’ll have more info as they become available.

New LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Video Game Character Screenshots

LEGO Marvel's Avengers Video Game - Fin Fang Foom

The past few days, the LEGO Marvel’s Avengersicon social media sites have been posting new clearer images of some of the characters that were revealed during last week’s MCM London Comic Con. These characters include Crossbones, Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy, Fin Fang Foom, Mantis, Skaar, Squirrel Girl, Wendigo, and a new character just revealed today, Korvac.

These are just a very tiny portion of the reported 250 characters that will be playable in the game. The game will be available on January 26 and we’ll probably be see a lot more reveals as we get closer to the release date.

LEGO Seasonal Christmas 2015 Sets Now Available on Shop@Home

LEGO Seasonal Winter Fun (40124)

If you don’t live by a LEGO Store and you collect the LEGO Seasonal sets, the new Christmas ones are now available on Shop@Home including Winter Fun (40124)icon and Santa’s Visit (40125)icon. Both sets are $9.99 each and they are very popular and usually sell out rather quickly both online and in stores. If you want them, I suggest purchasing them soon. If you haven’t seen yet, I’ve already done reviews of both sets if you want to check them out.

Building Disney in LEGO – Volume 1: Disney Characters Book Coming in 2016

Our good friend Joe Meno from BrickJournal has been working on a new book that is slated to be released early 2016 called Building Disney in LEGO – Volume 1: Disney Characters and yesterday he has revealed the cover of the book shown above.

If you didn’t know, Joe has experience working at Walt Disney World and DisneyQuest so he’s pretty familiar with educating people about Disney characters. When publisher Theme Park Press approached him about creating a Disney/LEGO book, it was pretty much a no-brainer. Building Disney in LEGO will be a series of books that show how to build Disney-themed models with LEGO parts.

If you’re a Disney and LEGO fan, this looks to be a very cool book to pick up when it’s available next year. Follow his new Facebook Page for more updates about the book.
