After a little cool off from all of today’s big news including the announcement of the LEGO Creator Modular Brick Bank (10251), the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas is the Toyota Landcruiser 40 Series by Matthew Inman. The build contains about 1,700 bricks and is very accurate to the real-life counterpart. The Landcruiser is the third project to get the required number of supporters to qualify for the Third 2015 Review Stage joining the Jurassic Park Explorer and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Nautilus. At the BricKorea fan event in South Korea, LEGO has officially announced the next modular to its popular lineup, the LEGO Creator Brick Bank (10251). The set contains 2,380 pieces and retails for $169.99 and will be in January 2016. Modular fans have been waiting for another corner building since 2013 when the Palace Cinema (10232) was released but we’ll be getting one at the beginning of the year. There will be no early VIP access for the set. Check out the press release and more images of the Brick Bank (10251) below. 10251 Brick Bank Make a safe deposit at the Brick Bank! Make a secure deposit at the highly respected Brick Bank, featuring an array of intricate details and hidden surprises. Easy-to-remove building sections provide access to the detailed interior, comprising a bank with an atrium foyer, tiled floor, arched windows, ornate chandelier, lockable vault and a transaction counter with security glass; a laundromat with printed window, tiled floor and 4 laundry machines; plus 2 second-floor offices with an array of detailed furniture, fixtures and accessories. The exterior of the building features a detailed sidewalk and an elaborate façade with carving and statue décor, decorative roofline, large arched windows, central balcony, clock and an accessible roof terrace featuring a large skylight. • Includes 5 minifigures: a bank manager, secretary, teller, and a mom and I’m not sure how long these will stay up but Bothan spies (whung, CM4sci, J2G) over on Eurobricks has found a slew of LEGO 2016 set images found on LEGO’s servers already. Note that these images are official and do not have watermarks but LEGO can decide to remove them from the servers at any time. Some of the images are system sets while some are promotional or polybag sets. What sets are you looking forward to? Update: LEGO has taken down all their links on their server but the good folks at Brickset had them backed up. Update 2: LEGO has begun telling sites to remove the images so I’ve complied to their wish. If you’re looking for them, they’re still out there on the web. You just have to find them. If you’re going to Disney World Florida, you may want to check out the LEGO Store in Downtown Disney. The reason is because they are selling the exclusive LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier (5002943) for $4.99 each. If you remember, this minifigure polybag was available in June with purchases of $75 or more but it seems that the Orlando location has a large abundance of them. There’s no word on whether the Anaheim location has the same deal or not. If someone can confirm that in the comments, that would be great. Update: It has been confirmed that the polybag is NOT available at Disneyland Anaheim. **Via Reddit** Earlier today at New York Comic Con 2015, TT Games did a panel for the upcoming LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Earlier this year, I reported that the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes The Joker Bumper Car (30303) will be coming to Target stores sometime this year and it looks like they’ve finally showed up. There have been multiple reports that the polybag has been found on endcaps in the toy section as well as at checkout lanes for $3.99. The DPCI number for it is 204-00-0479 so you can use an inventory checker to see if there are any near your area. This is probably the cheapest way to get the Joker minifigure and the bumper car isn’t too bad either. Thanks to Dan for messaging this in.
