LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) Featuring Peter Capaldi

LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204)

LEGO today has posted the first real-life image of the LEGO Dimensions Doctor Who Level Pack (71204) with Peter Capaldi holding a brick-built TARDIS. We previously saw the Doctor Who Level Pack on the back of some instructions and the set will contain the Twelfth Doctor with a sonic screwdriver as well as K-9. SDCC attendees will be able to play the Doctor Who level at the Hard Rock Hotel this Thursday through Saturday. As we know by now, Peter will be making an appearance at the Doctor Who panel at SDCC and who knows, he might even show up where LEGO Dimensions is set up for guests to try out.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Characters Sang with Yakko’s World Theme

Even though LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has been released for a while now, DC All-Access co-host Tiffany Smith has done something a little neat for fans. In the style of the Yakko’s World from Animaniacs, she has sung all of the 217 playable characters from the game. That’s pretty impressive since considering they had to find characters that rhyme. Check out the song below and if you haven’t heard of Yakko’s World, that video is also below.

Closeup Look at LEGO Classic Pirates Set (5003082)

Next month, one of the main promos LEGO will be having is the LEGO Classic Pirates Set (5003082) with purchases of $75 or more. The folks across the pond has already gotten a hold of this retro set and for those who was wondering what’s inside the set, Gnaat Lego has given some nice closeup shots of it including the contents. Again, the set has a nice slide out box and is a nice complement to the LEGO Classic Spaceman Minifigure (5002812) set from last year. I look forward to picking up this retro Pirates set next month and adding it to my collection.

LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series Coming in 2016?

There’s a very interesting rumor coming out of Eurobricks courtesy of none other than Just2Good. Over in the Series 14 topic, there was mentioning of a LEGO Disney Collectible Minifigures Series coming in May 2016. This was also mentioned before on his April Fool’s post but nobody really took it seriously because it was April Fool’s Day.

This rumored Disney Collectible Minifigure Series is a really interesting theme since LEGO has been doing various Minifigures series based on different themes including The LEGO Movie, The Simpsons, and the upcoming the Series 14 Monsters (71010). There are a number of characters that could be used because of Disney’s vast collection of animated movies but one thing that was also mentioned was Pixar.

Another question that could be asked is if Marvel would be affiliated in the way distant future because Disney acquired Marvel back in 2009 and LEGO has already produced a lot of Marvel characters as minifigures. Many LEGO Marvel Super Heroes fans have been wanting a series of Marvel characters as Collectible Minifigures. I’m not saying that LEGO will be making a line for this but it’s certainly a possibility.

There’s so many questions to be asked out of this LEGO Disney CMF rumor but we’ll have to wait until next year to see if this is actually true or not. Again, this is just a total rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt for now but keep in mind that J2G has been a pretty reliable source of upcoming products.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier (5002943) Giveaway

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier (5002943)

A few weeks ago, my Facebook Page hit 5,000 Likes and I realized I never did anything to celebrate the event. Well here’s a little something to make up for it. Last month, LEGO had a promo for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier (5002943) minifigure polybag. Some of you may not have had the chance to pick it up so here’s a way for you to try and win one. The winner gets to do whatever with it, whether it be opening it up, keep it sealed, or sell it. It’s up to you.

As usual, I’ll be using the Rafflecopter app. There are a few ways to enter. First, visit The Brick Fan Facebook Page and while you’re there, why not throw a like on the page. Next is to follow me on Twitter and/or Google+. The last two are optional but it does increase your chances a little. That’s it! I’ll let the contest run until Sunday, July 12 at midnight PST. One winner will be chosen randomly and I’ll ship the polybag to you for free. I’ll just need your shipping address.

It’s not much but this is just a little something to give back to the community. Thanks to everyone for your support and good luck!

Life-Size LEGO Models at SDCC 2015

Usually at the LEGO booth at San Diego Comic Con, there are life-size models of various characters from different themes. This year won’t be any different with the inclusion of the whole Scooby-Doo gang as well as The Mystery Machine. This model is made from 70,875 LEGO bricks and took over 525 hours to build it.

Another model that will be displayed at booth #2829 is LEGO Ninjago Lloyd. This version of Lloyd is the latest one where he is possessed by Morro and he is seen rappelling from the ceiling. This is the first time at SDCC that a model has done that. The model took 155 hours to create with 15,225 bricks.

I’m sure there will be more LEGO models being displayed at the booth and we’ll probably be seeing more as we get closer to next week.
