A few weeks ago, images of a new LEGO exclusive Birthday Table Decoration (40153) set surfaced and it is now available for purchase at LEGO Brand Stores and on Shop@Home. The set consists of 120 pieces and retails for $9.99. The contents of the box include 3 unnumbered bags, an instruction booklet, and a loose brown round plate.
Hoth Bricks has published the official set names of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens sets that are scheduled to be released on Force Friday, September 4th. We already knew the set numbers, the pricing, and number of pieces for the sets which came from BZPower but it’s nice to get confirmation of the set names now.

LEGO Ideas has just revealed the image of the newest LEGO Ideas set, The Big Bang Theory (21302). The set will consist of 479 pieces and will retail for $59.99 when it is released on August 1st. As I mentioned yesterday, the set will have 7 minifigures featuring the main cast of the hit TV show: Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, Raj, Penny, Amy, and Bernadette. The set itself is designed by Steen Sig Andersen and Mathew Boyle and it looks very close to the project that Alatariel and GlenBricker proposed on LEGO Ideas which features the living room of Sheldon and Leonard. Today was the last LEGO Monthly Mini Build at its current state. If you haven’t heard yet, the event will be a little different starting in July with the upcoming changes. For June, we have the Parrot (40131) which consists of 55 pieces.
In my opinion, the past two months LEGO has really hit homeruns with their Monthly Mini Builds with last month being the Koala (40131) and this month with the Parrot. The build is pretty satisfying by starting at the body and moving up to the head and finishing with the wings. The colors are very vibrant much to what a real parrot looks like. The wings are poseable and the tail can move up and down.
Overall, the Parrot (40130) is a great build for June. As I mentioned before, you are now required to register your child or whoever’s attending to be able to attend July’s Monthly Mini Build. If you don’t, you will be out of luck as only who have registered will be able to attend. Plus, you can’t take the build when you receive it. You’ll have to build it there along with the other participants. If you signed up and don’t attend, then you will lose out and won’t be able to receive the build. Registration lasts until the day before the event but I wouldn’t wait to sign up because most likely there won’t be any more spots open by then.
LEGO has just revealed the five minifigures that will be included in the new LEGO Ideas The Big Bang Theory (21302) set. The images show off the main characters of the show including Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, Howard, and Penny. Stay tuned tomorrow as LEGO will be doing the full set reveal as well as two more characters.
Update: Entertainment Weekly has revealed the set will go for $59.99 which is the most expensive LEGO CUUSOO/Ideas set that has ever been produced. EW also teased that the set will be based in Leonard and Sheldon’s LEGO living room as well as the names of the other two minifigures, Amy and Bernadette.

Warner Bros. today has announced two new IPs that will be joining LEGO Dimensions in the near future including Ghostbusters and Midway Arcade. Although there’s no mentioning of which Ghostbusters character will be included in the game, many readers have guessed that Slimer would be one of them. What’s really surprising is the Midway Arcade license because there are so many classic arcade characters that can be included. Again, there’s no mention of which of the characters will be added but my guess would be Paperboy or George, Lizzie, or Ralph from Rampage because those two games seem to fit in the best with LEGO Dimensions.
WB has also revealed a new trailer called Build Rebuild featuring various vehicles that are able to be rebuilt into other vehicles to be used in the game. Each vehicle or gadget will have three different builds.

Earlier today, I did an one hour stream on my Twitch channel for the new LEGO Worlds video game. It is now available for Early Access on Steam for $14.99. My first impressions of the game is that the play style is very similar to any other LEGO games you may have played by TT Games.
When you first load up the game, you have a few options. You can choose from a number of Worlds you can start on. You can also randomize the worlds so there are a number of different environments you can start on. After the world loads, you get dropped in from the air at a random spot and you can either land while going full speed or you can open up your umbrella to slow you down and that’s when the exploration starts.
You have your basic jump, action, and ability/interact buttons which are standard for these LEGO games. Pretty much everything is breakable and some items can drop studs for you to use to purchase things. I’ll get to that a little later. You may also see items that flash white. You can collect those to add to your collection of items called props. There are also random characters that you’ll meet throughout your exploration and they’ll be added to the characters list. Beware, you may also find some enemies that you have to beat up to get them.
