LEGO Worlds First Impressions Gameplay

LEGO Worlds Gameplay

Earlier today, I did an one hour stream on my Twitch channel for the new LEGO Worlds video game. It is now available for Early Access on Steam for $14.99. My first impressions of the game is that the play style is very similar to any other LEGO games you may have played by TT Games.

When you first load up the game, you have a few options. You can choose from a number of Worlds you can start on. You can also randomize the worlds so there are a number of different environments you can start on. After the world loads, you get dropped in from the air at a random spot and you can either land while going full speed or you can open up your umbrella to slow you down and that’s when the exploration starts.

LEGO Worlds Gameplay

You have your basic jump, action, and ability/interact buttons which are standard for these LEGO games. Pretty much everything is breakable and some items can drop studs for you to use to purchase things. I’ll get to that a little later. You may also see items that flash white. You can collect those to add to your collection of items called props. There are also random characters that you’ll meet throughout your exploration and they’ll be added to the characters list. Beware, you may also find some enemies that you have to beat up to get them.

For Tools, you have paint mode, add, remove, flatten, smooth, lower terrain, raise terrain, and select & export. These tools … Continue

LEGO Deadpool Chimichanga Tuesday T-Shirt on Ript Apparel

Ript Apparel Chimichanga Tuesday

Ript Apparel has a really cool t-shirt for sale today featuring a Deadpool LEGO minifigure in Chimichanga Tuesday. If you follow Deadpool at all, you would know that Deadpool’s favorite food is Chimichangas. The phrasing of the shirt is a play on words from The LEGO Movie’s Taco Tuesday. The shirt starts at $11 and will be available for only 24 hours. It comes only in red since that’s Deadpool’s main color of his costume.

LEGO Star Wars Sith Infiltrator (75096) Official Image

LEGO Star Wars Sith Infiltrator (75096)

Nokturn on Eurobricks has posted the official image of the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Sith Infiltrator (75096) that will be released in August. As I mentioned in my previous post, the set will have 660 pieces and retail for 99.99 Euros. The minifigures that will be included in the set are Darth Maul, Watto, Anakin Skywalker, and Qui-Gon Jinn. R2-D2 was also rumored to be in the set but it’s been left off. We also get three DRK-1 Dark Eye Probe Droids and Darth Maul’s Bloodfin speeder.

As you can see, the new Sith Infiltrator (75096) is slightly updated from the previous 7961 set such as the front end of the ship having more sloped pieces. Also notice the Qui-Gon Jinn minifigure is now wearing a poncho piece for his Mos Espa version.

What do you guys think of the new LEGO Star Wars Sith Infiltrator (75096)?

LEGO Worlds Video Game Now Available on Steam Early Access

LEGO Worlds Steam Early Access

A few days ago, it was revealed that TT Games will be releasing a new game called LEGO Worlds. There was not much information about it but it’s June 1st and surprise, it already available for Steam Early Access for $14.99. It’s a single player game that lets you freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models which is pretty similar to Minecraft but in LEGO style. For those who aren’t gamers, Steam Early Access is a way to play the game while it is still being developed and you’ll get regular updates until the full release of the game. Check out the full description of LEGO Worlds as well as a video for it below.

EXPLORE. DISCOVER. CREATE.

LEGO® Worlds is a galaxy of procedurally-generated Worlds made entirely of LEGO bricks which you can freely manipulate and dynamically populate with LEGO models. Explore each World and unlock new discoveries: from cowboys and giraffes to vampires and polar bears, to steamrollers, race cars, and colossal digging machines! Use the multi-tool to shape environments and alter any World to your liking: raise the terrain to create vast mountain ranges, or enter the Brick-by-Brick editor to build anything you can imagine. Save your creations to build with them again. LEGO Worlds enables you to populate your Worlds with many weird and wonderful characters, creatures, models, and driveable vehicles, and then play out your own unique adventures. Probably not worth upsetting the Skeletons though…

LEGO Worlds is currently in Early Access, so be sure to keep coming back for
