LEGO Creator Seasonal Christmas Tree Polybag (30286) Found

LEGO Creator Seasonal Christmas Tree (30286)

Technically it’s not even summer yet but there’s already an image of one of this year’s LEGO Christmas polybags courtesy of Brickset and that is the LEGO Creator Seasonal Christmas Tree (30286). It seems to be an annual tradition that LEGO puts out a Christmas tree during the winter season. It doesn’t look that spectacular with some slight differences to previous years trees but polybag collectors will most likely want this one too.

LEGO City Heavy-Haul Train (60098)

LEGO Train fans, it’s time to sink your teeth into LEGO’s latest offering with the LEGO City Heavy-Haul Train (60098). LEGO has updated their servers so now we finally get to see the official images of the set. It’ll consist of 984 pieces including 12 of the straight tracks and 16 of the curved ones. The set will also include the Power Functions IR Speed Remote Control and I assume the Receiver Unit along with the Battery Box. There’s no pricing that I know of but if history is any indication, the Heavy-Haul Train (60098) will be upwards of $150. Who’s excited to add this train to your City layout?

LEGO Worlds Video Game Advertisement Revealed

Untitled

Over on Eurobricks, a user has found an advertisement for a new video game by TT Games called LEGO Worlds on the back of the instructions of the LEGO City Square (60097) set. There isn’t much to go on from the image but from what I can infer from it is that LEGO Worlds will be some sort of open world sandbox game in which the player can “explore, discover, and create.”

The image also gives a link to LEGO World’s minipage but it doesn’t work yet since the sets aren’t officially released let. I assume we’ll have more details about the game around the beginning of June.

2015 LEGO Brand Retail Manager’s Conference Exclusive Minifigure

2015 LEGO Brand Retail Manager's Conference

One of the perks of working at LEGO Brand Stores is that if you’re in a management position, you sometimes get to conferences and you also get to bring some memorabilia back home with you. That’s what happened with someone’s friend in the AFOLs of Facebook page.

The OP’s friend was given the above packaged zombie minifigure by their manager who attended the 2015 LEGO Brand Retail Manager’s Conference. It appears that all the pieces of the zombie are official pieces minus the tattered yellow LEGO apron. I’ve seen some pretty cool stuff posted from these conferences but this zombie LEGO employee is probably the coolest one I’ve seen so far.

New LEGO Minifigure Display Case Found

LEGO Minifigure Case

It looks like there’s going to be a new and updated LEGO Minifigure Display Case coming in the near future. First discovered over on Brick Fanatics, this new case will feature clear doors in the front to access your minifigures from the front. Another thing that is new about these cases is that they are clear all around so you can fully see all 16 minifigures without having to take them out to look at the back like with previous cases. From the example image, it seems that there’s enough room for both the minifigures and their accessories as well. Like with the previous Minifigure Display Cases that LEGO has produced, they have studs on top that lets you stack multiple cases together.

The current LEGO Minifigure Collectors Box (852820)icon only allows for 15 minifigures so if you’re a collector of the LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series, there’s no way to display all of them unless you cram 2 minifigs in one compartment so this new one is a definite upgrade. Since it’s already listed over in the UK, that probably means it should be available here in the States very soon so keep your eyes peeled for it.
