LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Bat-Pod (5004590) Parts List & Building Instructions

Back in June, there was a contest by LEGO to giveaway a limited edition LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Bat-Pod (5004590). I was told that winners were sent emails with the tracking number and the sets have already been shipped out. Reddit user uacrobi has already received theirs and they were nice enough to provide a parts list so you can start finding the necessary parts to build your own. They will be providing the building instructions in due time as well. The Bat-Pod (5004590) contains 311 pieces and also includes a very nifty looking box which looks similar to the exclusive sets from San Diego Comic Con except that it’s twice the length. If you’re in need of the parts, head on over to BrickLink to find sellers that have them. Below is the parts list and I’ll do a post of the building instructions when they are available.

Update: As promised, the OP has uploaded the building instructions for the Bat-Pod. The original copy was 100MB but I’ve condensed the file size to less than 20MB without losing quality. You can download it here. Just rotate the PDF clockwise to see it the right way.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Rey’s Speeder (75099) Review

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Rey's Speeder (75099)

In my second review of the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens sets, I have the smallest set in the initial wave, Rey’s Speeder (75099). We first saw a clear shot of the vehicle in the teaser trailer last year and LEGO has decided to include it in this wave. The set contains 193 pieces and retails for $19.99 which isn’t a bad price point. The contents of the box include two numbered bags and an instruction booklet.

New LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu Interview by TheHDRoom

LEGO Ninjago Season 6 Skybound Flag

One of our readers has recently done an interview for TheHDRoom with the Hageman Brothers regarding things that have happened with LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and what’s in store for the future. If you remember from San Diego Comic Con, LEGO Ninjago will be returning soon and it hints at something to do with pirates. They have also provided a high resolution image of the pirate flag called the Skybound Flag. Check out the full interview in the link above and thanks to Dan for emailing it in.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon (75105) Review

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon (75105)

Last week on Force Friday, LEGO released the new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens sets to the public. Let’s hit the set reviews off with a bang and do the biggest set in the wave first, the Millennium Falcon (75105). Everyone was excited when the Falcon showed up in the first teaser trailer and we knew it was coming back for Episode VII. Of course, LEGO had to update the 2011 (7965) version so it’ll correspond to the one in the upcoming movie. The new Millennium Falcon (75105) has 1329 pieces and retails for $149.99. There are ten numbered bags, one un-numbered bag of plates, and a bagged instruction booklet with sticker sheet. Be warned, there may be some speculation and minor spoilers in The Force Awakens LEGO set reviews.

LEGO Disney Princess Frozen Late 2015 Set Descriptions

Back in July, I reported that two more LEGO Disney Princess Frozen sets will be coming out later this year. We didn’t have much to go on except for the the set names and prices but Toys R Us Canada has the sets listed online with set descriptions for Anna & Kristoff’s Sleigh Adventure (41066) and Arendelle Castle Celebration (41068) but no images at this time. As I predicted, 41066 will have Anna, Kristoff, and Sven mini-dolls while 41068 will have Elsa and Anna mini-dolls will have outfits from Frozen Fever.

Thanks to Jeff for the tip.

Official LEGO Costumes Coming in Fall 2016

Here’s something interesting coming out of the folks at Brick Fanatics this morning. Have you ever wanted to wear official LEGO costumes for your Halloween parties and functions? Well that will be happening starting next year. Local costume company, Disguise, has announced last week that they are partnering up with The LEGO Group to produce official Halloween costumes, role play and accessories based on popular LEGO characters. This will be a multi-year deal so you can expect to see LEGO costumes in the next few years in the US, Europe, and Asia. There’s no word on what characters will be included but most likely there will be some from their own IP library like Chima, Ninjago, Friends, and The LEGO Movie. Looking on their website, they already have LEGO Mixels listed. You can expect the official LEGO costumes to be hitting shelves starting in fall 2016.

POWAY, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Disguise, Inc., the Halloween costume division of leading toy manufacturer, JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (NASDAQ: JAKK), announced today that it has secured a licensing agreement with the LEGO Group to “construct” children’s Halloween costumes, role play and accessories based on popular LEGO® characters. The multi-year, multi-category agreement grants Disguise rights to distribute its LEGO licensed products across channels in North America, Europe, Korea and China.

“The LEGO brand is full of aspirational characters that kids love and want to be. We are very excited to be partnering with the LEGO Group to design and create innovative costumes and accessories based on their inspirational and iconic characters,” said Joe Anton,
