The Medieval Market Street project by AlexP is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The project features a very detailed market along with some medieval houses which are all three stories high and have different styles and advanced building techniques. Some of the buildings include a blacksmith, pub, stables, and a Sheriff’s residence. The market itself is filled with little stands that are selling various food items. The project would go great with the LEGO Castle Medieval Market Village (10193) from 2008 but it actually looks a bit cooler than the official one.
The Medieval Market Street joins The Discworld and Science Adventures as the projects so far to qualify for the First 2015 Review Stage.
There’s a new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers: Age of Ultron polybag in the wild called The Avengers Quinjet (30304) and it consists of 56 pieces. It features an updated Quinjet that will be seen in the upcoming movie. It’s a little different that in the 2012 version (30162). There’s no word at this point of its availability. In a Q&A session at the Santa Barbara Film Festival where The LEGO Movie was screened earlier this week, Chris Miller and Phil Lord gave a small tidbid of what will happen in The LEGO Movie 2. They mentioned that the sequel will be a few years after the events of the first movie (four years to be exact) and will “focus Emmet and his sister in a ‘weird, dystopian version of Bricksburg.'” Yes, you read that right. Emmet has a sister! We reported that the sequel will be featuring more female characters so Emmet’s sister is confirmed to be one of these characters. The release of The LEGO Movie 2 won’t be happening for another three years in 2018 with the LEGO Ninjago and LEGO Batman movies premiering before it so there’s still a lot more stuff we can expect to hear about in the next few years.

New episodes of LEGO Ninjago will be returning to Cartoon Network on February 23rd at 6:30/5:30c and LEGO has released a teaser video showing what will be going on this season in the Tournament of Elements. The upcoming wave of sets will also coincide with the season. Over on their YouTube page, LEGO has also released some character videos from this season including details of Master Chen who is the owner of the Noodle House restaurant chain but is secretly the leader of an underground criminal organization. Skylor is also featured and she is an orange ninja who has the ability to steal powers from other elemental fighters.
If you’ve ever visited BrickPicker before, you would know that you can get gauge the value of your LEGO sets by using their tools. Our friends Jeff and Ed have now started a new marketplace that you can use to sell your LEGO products. It’s called Brick Classifieds. It’s another avenue that you can use to sell your items besides on BrickLink, BrickOwl, eBay, or Amazon just to name a few. You may have probably seen their ad that’s been up on our sidebar for a few weeks now.
