LEGO Creator Ferris Wheel (10247) Front Box Art Image

Yesterday, we kind of broke the internet LEGO-wise with an image reveal of the LEGO Creator Ferris Wheel (10247). If that wasn’t enough, there’s now an image of the front of the box for the set posted on Instagram by andrilinardi. As you can see from the image above, the Ferris Wheel is an expert set and contains 2,464 pieces. It’s hard to see but the set itself is 60cm tall which is a little less than 24 inches tall and 38cm or about 15 inches wide. There’s still no pricing for it so far but my guess is about $199.99. One thing we do know is that the Ferris Wheel (10247) will be available for VIP members starting on May 13 and for the general public on June 1. Thanks to Bill for the heads up.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier (5002943) Minifigure Polybag in June

As we reported back in December, there will be an exclusive gift in the month of June with the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Winter Soldier (5002943) minifigure with purchases of $75 or more. This particular promotion will last from June 1-30. This Winter Soldier polybag will be the first time featuring the character in minifigure form so there is understandably a high demand for it. What set(s) will you be getting to pick up the exclusive Winter Soldier along with it?

LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Limited Edition Bat-Pod (5004590) Promotion in June

The June 2015 LEGO Store Calendar is already being passed out here and AC Pin over on his Flickr has revealed that there will be a LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes VIP members-only promotion to win 1 of the 750 Limited Edition LEGO DC Super Heroes Bat-Pod (5004590) . The set will not be able to be purchased but you can enter by making a LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes purchase at LEGO Brand Stores and on Shop@Home from June 1-30. You can also enter the contest by sending an email to [email protected] and stating your name, VIP Number, and “Bat-Pod” in the subject line. The winners of the 750 Bat-Pod sets will be announced in mid-July.

First Look at LEGO Creator Ferris Wheel (10247)

An image of the new LEGO Creator Ferris Wheel (10247) has been posted on the AFOLs of FaceBook group via Warren. We first talked about this set in our 2015 promotions report last year and many readers have been waiting a long time to see a glimpse of the set. The image is cropped from the June 2015 LEGO Store Calendar which has started to been passed out already at LEGO Stores. The set will be available to LEGO VIP members on May 13 and for the general public on June 1 at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home. We should be seeing the official press release and designer video any time now.

LEGO TECHNIC Summer 2015 Official Box Art Images

We’re finally at the end of the summer 2015 official box art images from BrincaLandia with LEGO TECHNIC. There are three LEGO TECHNIC sets scheduled to be released the rest of the year, I believe, with the Fire Plane (42040) and Crawler Crane (42042) out this summer, and the Mercedes Benz Arocs 3245 (42043) which will be available in late 2015. As you can see above, there are only images of the Crawler Crane available at this time.

Crawler Crane (42042)

Make way for the LEGO Technic crawler crane. This 2-in-1 model comes with the Power Functions motor that lets you use the joysticks to operate the boom, raise and lower the claw, rotate the superstructure, and drive the caterpillar tracks. LEGO Ultra Agents Ultrasonic Showdown (70171)

We’re almost to the finish line for the summer 2015 official box art images from BrincaLandia with everyone’s favorite crime fighting team, the LEGO Ultra Agents sets. Like with the LEGO Creator sets for this wave, there are only three sets being released that we know of. The small number of sets in the wave makes you think if this will be the final wave for the theme. Keep in mind that the LEGO Legends of Chima also has three sets coming out for their final wave but are still continuing with releasing minifigures and small sets via LEGO Dimensions. The above set is the Ultrasonic Showdown (70171).

LEGO Creator Summer 2015 Official Box Art Images

Moving along with the official summer 2015 box art images from Portuguese online retailer BrincaLandia, we now have the ones from the LEGO Creator line. There aren’t much in this wave but there are currently three sets that we can show off. One of the more popular sets that I’ve seen is Changing Seasons (31038) because you can build three different seasons. The above set is Adventure Vehicles (31037).

Adventure Vehicles (31037)

Enjoy adventures on land, in the air, and on the water with the 3-in-1 LEGO Creator Adventure Vehicles set. The tough offroader features a working winch and hook mechanism, opening doors, chunky deep-tread tires, and orange warning beacons. When you’re done off-roading, rebuild it into a hovercraft or a high-speed helicopter for more fun adventures.

Changing Seasons (31038)

Enjoy the delights of summer, autumn, or winter with the 3-in-1 LEGO Creator Changing Seasons set. The summer cottage features a barbecue with a LEGO light brick and swimming pool.
