The LEGO Movie Everything is Awesome Edition Blu-Ray Image Update and Price Change

The LEGO Movie Everything Is Awesome Edition Blu-Ray

Walmart yet again has updated their page for The LEGO Movie Everything is Awesome Edition Blu-Ray but this time the page shows a nice-looking image of the box. If you followed our earlier post, you would’ve seen that the price dropped to $29.96. Unfortunately, Walmart has been finagling with the price of the Blu-Ray and now the price has been upped to $39.96. It seems like they’re not even sure what they want to sell it for. I expect the price to fluctuate even more in the months between now and August.

The LEGO Movie Everything is Awesome Edition Blu-Ray Price Drop

The LEGO Movie Blu-Ray Everything Is Awesome Edition

Last week, we reported on The LEGO Movie Everything is Awesome Edition Blu-Ray which includes the exclusive Vitruvius minifigure was found on Walmart’s website. It was listed at $41.38 but today they have discounted it even further to $29.96. I’m not sure what Walmart’s policy is on price drops after you pre-order. If you did pre-order since last week, you can cancel that order and pre-order again with the new price. Amazon also has a similar item listed but there is no price listed or any mentioning of the Vitruvius minifigure at this time. We’ll let you know if there are updates on the listing. The Blu-Ray is slated for release in August.

BrickLink Announces MOC Shop and Teaser Page

BrickLink MOC Shop

Earlier this month, BrickLink officially announced that they will be launching the BrickLink MOC Shop in May. It is a place where members can create, share, buy, and sell their MOCs to other members in the community. Builders can upload an image or the LDD file of their MOC for members in the community to like and comment on it and if it gets enough recognition, it becomes a candidate for it to be sold. The design of the MOC will be evaluated for parts availability by sellers. If it is approved, the MOC will be available for purchase as a BrickLink Original. You can read more about the process on the post here. BrickLink has released a teaser page for the MOC Shop (above image). What do you think of this new service and will any of you be selling your MOCs?

LEGO Star Wars TC-4 Confirmed as Star Wars Day Volunteer Giveaway

LEGO Star Wars TC-4 Polybag

FBTB has confirmed that the exclusive minifigure for volunteering and displaying a MOC at this week’s Star Wars Days at LEGOLAND California will indeed be the TC-4 minifigure polybag. This particular minifigure has been rumored to been this year’s LEGO May the 4th promotional giveaway but there’s been no confirmation on that yet.

Star Wars Days features many activities such as the 501st & Rebel Legion Droid Hunt and the Miniland Scavenger Hunt. Also be sure to check out all the MOCs that will be displayed at the Fan Gallery on the Model Shop roof. There’s a very slim chance that I may be there this year but I have to see.
