LEGO retailer Kiddiwinks has given some descriptions of a few of the LEGO Friends 2014 Summer sets.

Olivia’s Ice Cream Bike (41030) – 98 pieces

LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Animated Series Set Details

South African LEGO retailer Kiddiwinks has provided some details on the LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Nickelodeon animated TV series sets. They list the sets being available in April but there’s no word on the official release date. There is still no details about the movie sets at this time.

The LEGO Movie Radio DJ Robot Minifigure Polybag Found

The LEGO Movie Radio DJ Robot

Another The LEGO Movie minifigure polybag has shown up courtesy of Dorayaki on Eurobricks via Ruten. This one is called the Radio DJ Robot. It wears a blue Master Builder Academy type shirt with some grey headphones. As mentioned in the article about the Pyjamas Emmet polybag, these are given out in the UK by pre-ordering tickets to the movie. There’s no word at this time on if or how these two minifigures will be showing up here in the States. I sure hope the Radio DJ Robot will be available here because I wouldn’t mind having a couple of these guys.

LEGO CUUSOO Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover (21104) Review

Way back in August 18, 2012, the Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover project by Stephen Pakbaz, aka Perijove, achieved 10,000 supporters on LEGO CUUSOO. At the beginning of the year, it became available for purchase on LEGO Shop@Home and sold out very quickly. I’ve managed to get one before stock ran out and here’s my take on it. The Curiosity Rover (21104) contains 295 and retails for $29.99. At 295 pieces, this set is currently the smallest CUUSOO set that has been released by LEGO. The box contains one instructions book, four un-numbered bags, and two loose 8×16 tan plates.

LEGO Announces Partnership With 20th Century Fox

As we mentioned earier in the official reveal of the LEGO The Simpsons House (71006), LEGO has come to an agreement to partner up with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products to produce LEGO The Simpsons products. Back in September, we reported that there would be LEGO The Simpsons products coming this year and today, both parties officially announced it.

We already know that the house will be available next month for $199.99 at LEGO Stores and on Shop@Home. In May, there will also be a line of Collectible Minifigures based on the characters of the show available at all major toy retailers for $3.99 each. Finally also in May, there will be a special LEGO episode of the Simpsons on Fox that will feature the whole town of Springfield and its characters in LEGO. Check out the press release below:
