The LEGO Movie Pyjamas Emmet Polybag Found

The LEGO Movie Pyjamas Emmet Polybag

In our third straight article about The LEGO Movie, there is a new minifigure polybag that was found by Dorayaki over at Eurobricks. This polybag is called Pyjamas Emmet and it features Emmet in his pyjamas as seen in the trailer. It shows him half-awake yet happy at the same time. There’s no word on how it will be distributed at this time.

Update: Deepdalelegend on Brickset mentioned that this polybag is given out when you book tickets to The LEGO Movie. Plus there is also a mysterious DJ minifigure polybag supposedly given out as well. Well, time to go looking around to see if any theaters around here are doing the same offer.

Sneak Peek at February’s Monthly Mini Model Build

Sneak peek at February's Monthly Mini Model Build, The LEGO Movie Micro Manager

Today at my local LEGO Store, there was a preview of the February’s Monthly Mini Model Build which is the Micro Manager from The LEGO Movie. It looks larger than the snowplow that we got for this month. I’m looking forward to getting this little guy next month to add to the growing army of Micro Managers. As usual, quantities are limited with the event to about 250 per store so head there early to get in line to build one of these guys.

The LEGO Movie Accessory Pack Review

Today at the Monthly Mini Build event at the LEGO Store, people waiting in line were given The LEGO Movie Accessory Pack polybag. The 53 piece polybag will also be given out from January 20 – February 16 when you build something for display at the store.

There are four different things you can get with the Accessory Pack, a lenticular keychain featuring Benny and the Bad Cop, mini builds for the Ice Cream Machine and the Trash Chomper, and a shiny sticker sheet.

On the Bad Cop keychain, it shows his happy side as well the angry Bad Cop side. The Bad Cop image, unfortunately, does not show up as well as well both images of Benny as you can see in the image below.

On Benny’s side of the keychain, both images show him with his cracked helmet with one image showing his cheerful character and the other with him very excited.

The Accessory Pack contains pieces for both the mini Trash Chomper and the Ice Cream Machine. What’s neat about it is that they are also 2-in-1 builds just like the regular sets so you can rearrange the pieces to create the flying modes of the vehicles. If you want to build the two vehicles, I’ve provided the instructions on my Flickr.

Finally, we have the little holographic sticker sheet featuring some of the main characters in the movie like Emmet, Vitruvius, MetalBeard, and Wyldstyle. Nothing too fancy but nice to have.

LEGO The Hobbit Legolas Greenleaf Polybag (30215) Found on eBay

LEGO The Hobbit Legolas Greenleaf Polybag (30215)

Lord of the Brick is reporting that the LEGO The Hobbit Legolas Greenleaf Polybag (30215) has been found on eBay. The polybag consists of Legolas with a longbow, a flick-fire ballista-type device, and a small target to shoot at. No details on how the polybag will be distributed but my guess would be at Toys R Us stores but if you can’t wait to get it, eBay has it for you.

The LEGO The Simpsons House (71006) Be Released Next Month?

LEGO The Simpsons House (71006)

There are some new developments of the LEGO The Simpsons House (71006). Skalldyr on Eurobricks was told that the release date would be January 17th for LEGO VIP Members. After some discussion in the forums, it may be a miscommunication but CM4S has linked to the February LEGO Calendar (see below) and it says on February 17th, VIP Members can preview and buy and new exclusive LEGO set. Could this mean The Simpsons House could be released as early as next month? As we reported last year, the house was tentatively set to be released in April. Could LEGO have shifted the release date of the set up a whole month early or could it be another exclusive set that will be released in February? BrickFair Alabama 2014 is happening this weekend so we could have some official at that time. We’ll have more details as they become available.

Update: The Simpsons House is officially revealed.
