Earlier this week, we reported that a new LEGO Seasonal Valentine’s Day Teddy Bear (40085) has started showing up at LEGO brand stores. While finishing up some Christmas shopping today, I asked couple of the store employees if the sets were in stock and fortunately they were so I had to pick one up. The set contains 127 pieces and retails for $9.99 which is a great $0.08/piece.
Today, at the my local LEGO Store, I picked up the new LEGO Seasonal Valentine’s Day Teddy Bear (40085) and on the back of the instruction booklet, there is an image promoting the new Seasonal Easter Bunny (40086). It has 106 pieces and will most likely retail for $9.99. The set contains a brick-built bunny as well as a brick-built carrot. It looks pretty neat and I’ll probably be picking it up as well when it comes out.
We have now reached Day 13 of the LEGO Star Wars 2013 Advent Calendar (75023). Will we continue getting some good builds?

A few days ago, Walmart was selling the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 bundled with a $50 eGift Card. They have now bumped up the eGift card to $75! Every year, employees of The LEGO Group are given a gift in the form of a LEGO set for their hard work. This year is no different. Brickset has posted images of what employees will be getting this year, A LEGO Christmas Tale (4000013). In this 435 piece set, there are actually four small models that you can build. There is Santa’s Workshop with two elves, Santa’s sleigh with reindeer, a snowman in the middle of trees, and a Christmas fireplace scene. Overall, it’s a pretty cute set that LEGO employees will be getting and no doubt that many collectors will be wanting to get their hands on as well.
