The Japanese Old Style Architecture joins the Legend of Zelda: Iron Knuckle Encounter as the second project to reach the Winter 2013 Review Stage. Congratulations to Taxon55 for this achievement!

Congratulations on 10,000 supporters, taxon55!

2013.11.12

Congratulations on this achievement, to both taxon55 and to all supporters of this excellent LEGO® CUUSOO project.

As we’ve said before, this is a very well designed project that captures the essence of these traditional Japanese buildings. The models really make you feel like you’re there! We look forward to considering your project in the LEGO Review.

What happens now?
This project moves from the Idea stage to the Review stage. A “LEGO Review Board” composed of designers, product managers, and other key team members will examine the idea. We’ll build concept models and determine if the concept meets our high standards for what it takes to be a LEGO product, including playability, safety, and fit with the LEGO brand. Every LEGO product goes through a process like this and must meet the same standards.

Timing of the LEGO Review
This project qualifies for the quarterly review beginning in January, which will also include all projects that reach

Is There A New LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Hulk Figure?

A member by the name of rashaun over on Eurobricks has purchased on Taobao (Chinese eBay) of what is believed to be the new Hulk figure for the 2014 Hulk’s Laboratory (76018). He has posted images of Hulk, now wearing purple pants, side by side with the 2012 version from Hulk’s Helicarrier Breakout (6868). Hulk also has a new face printing with him having clenched teeth instead of an open mouth. Rashaun believes that the “new” version of Hulk has been in production for at least a year. What do you think of the new Hulk figure?

Votvik on eBay is back with another 2014 minifigure and this time, it’s the LEGO Star Wars Anakin Skywalker from the Jedi Interceptor (75038). As you can see, he has a new head which includes printing for his communication device. The set itself is from the beginning scene in Episode 3 at the Battle over Coruscant where Anakin and Obi-Wan rescues Chancellor Palpatine.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Video Game Review

I’ve been playing the new LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game on Playstation 3 on and off for a few weeks now and I think it’s about time for a little review on the game. The game was developed by Traveller’s Tales in conjunction with LEGO and Marvel and retails for $49.99. I’ve completed about 80% of the game but there’s still much more to do in it. For individuals who haven’t gotten to play the game yet, viewer discretion is advised aka SPOILER ALERT!
