The LEGO Movie – Behind the Bricks Featurette on iTunes

The LEGO Movie has released an exclusive featurette on iTunes called Behind the Bricks. This 4 minute video goes behind the scenes of the movie and interviews the cast while they are stil in character. There are some more new scenes added and you can also hear some characters talk for the first time including Alison Brie as Uni-Kitty, Charlie Day as Benny, and Nick Offerman as MetalBeard. You may have to download QuickTime Player to see the video. If you aren’t able to watch it, it’ll probably be on YouTube in the near future and we’ll embed it below when it is available.

The LEGO Movie Video Game Xbox Achievement List Revealed

The LEGO Movie Video Game is still weeks away from release but XboxAchievements has revealed the achievement list for the Xbox version of the game. There are a total of 48 achievements for a total of 1000 points to unlock throughout the game. The Playstation version of the trophies will have similar achievements broken down by rarity.

The LEGO Movie Benny Minifigure Revealed

One of the directors and writers of The LEGO Movie, Chris Miller, has tweeted out a image of the Benny minifigure from the one of the future LEGO Movie sets. As you can see, he has a worn down look with a faded symbol on the torso as well as his signature cracked helmet. Benny will be available in next month’s release of MetalBeard’s Sea Cow (70810) as well as in Benny’s Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!

LEGO CUUSOO Buffalo Airways Ice Pilots DC-3

From time to time, we feature some neat projects on LEGO CUUSOO. We’ve been asked by fellow reader Katie O’Neil to help support the Buffalo Airways Ice Pilots DC-3 project and also help spread the word about it. The model is a collaborative project by Mikey McBryand and Ssorg. The project is based off the Buffalo Airways real life DC-3 and has made numerous appearances in the History Channel’s Ice Pilots. I have actually seen a few episodes of the show in the past and the project does represent the plane very well. Mikey has been hard at work trying to promote his project and we are glad to help out. The LEGO Movie Video Game Gamestop Pre-order Bonus #2

If you’re thinking picking up The LEGO Movie Video Game, Gamestop has another bonus added to the pre-orders of the game. For pre-ordering, you will receive a voucher for up to $7.50 off one admission ticket to see The LEGO Movie in theaters. This offer is valid only for the games on the Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii U and expires on 3/31/14, while supplies last. The LEGO Movie Toys R Us Building Event

Toys R Us stores will be holding their own The LEGO Movie Building Event on Saturday, February 8th from 12-2pm. At the event you can build Emmet’s car and transform it into a flying car. The event is valid while supplies last.

Remember, LEGO Stores will have their Micro Manager Monthly Mini Model Build event on Tuesday, February 4th starting at 5pm. Get there early because this will probably be a very popular build, just in time for The LEGO Movie premiere later in the same week.

The LEGO Movie MetalBeard’s Sea Cow (70810) Confirmed For February Release

As we predicted, the exclusive set being sold early for LEGO VIP Members in February will be The LEGO Movie MetalBeard’s Sea Cow (70810). Hoth Bricks has a copy of the February calendar which shows an outline of the epic ship. The set will be sold early to VIP members starting February 17th until February 28th and to the general public right after. The Sea Cow contains 2741 pieces and will have five minifigures: Emmet, Wyldstyle, MetalBeard, Benny, and Vitruvious. Queasy Kitty will also make an appearance in the set. There’s no word on the pricing but my guess would be at least around $200.
